ch.6 -rushing

(...the next morning...)

Anakin woke up feeling relaxed. Padme was next to him, after all. He was so lucky, he had the most beautiful, loving, hardworking wife. He felt her soft hair, and tenderly caressed her face until she woke up.

"Ani? What time is it?"

"Good question, my angel. Lemme just check my phone- HOLY FORCE GHOST OF JEDI MASTER QUI GON, ITS 7:30 AM!"

"WHAT?ANAKIN THE KIDS HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL... I, I-I HAVE MEETING! AAHHHHH!!!!"

"OH-OKAY! DON'T WORRY, I GOT AN IDEA! You go to the, uh, meeting, and... I'll take Leia and Luke to school."

"Are you sure, Anakin?" Padmé asked watching her husband's silhouette as he got ready.

Anakin held her shoulders, and gave her a quick kiss.

"Of course, m'lady."

Padmé blushed. She grabbed Anakin's hand and gave it a squeeze.

"Thank you, Ani."

It was times like this when Padmé wished she could always live with Anakin. He would be very helpful.

She left but looked at him from the corner of her eye, smiling proudly.

Anakin lifted up leia from her top bunk bed and told her to wake up.

"Huh? Mom... Wait! You're not mom? Uncle Anakin, where is my mother?"

"Shhh... she had to go to work, and she asked me to help her. You wanna help me prank Luke?"

Leia smirked with mischievous eyes.
"Yeah!"

"Okay, let's get everything ready. We'll wake up Luke at the last minute."

After Leia got dressed, she packed her backpack, and Luke's backpack. Anakin packed their lunches.

Then, Anakin and Leia stealthily snuck into The kids room.
"okay, ready?"
"ready!"
"LUKE, LUKE! GET UP! WE'RE GOING TO THE JEDI TEMPLE!"
"YEAH, YOU BETTER HURRY UP, BRO!"

Luke got up and immediately got ready. Like, seriously, Anakin literally blinked and Luke was standing by the door.

"Come on guys! Let's go!"

Leia and Anakin were shocked, how was this possible?

"Okay, get in the speeder."

As they got closer to the school, Anakin slowed down and stopped.

"Why'd you stop the car?" Asked Luke.

Leia giggled in anticipation.

"Yeah... about that. We're not really going to the temple..."

"We're going to school, hahaha" Leia burst out laughing.

Luke's jaw dropped, & he sat there in disbelief.

"Sorry buddy, I had to motivate you some how, and we were running late-"
