ch.2 -big day

It had been about a week since post-war negotiations with the separatists began. Anakin was just sitting there with the council, discussing ideas. However, the Jedi Masters seemed to come to the same conclusion, that the separatists could use their droids for security, even if it meant risking misuse.

Suddenly Anakin sensed a great disturbance in the force.

"Is it okay if I leave?"

"Yes Anakin, And remember to check up with Obi-wan, he has a mission for you. You are a Master now, after all."

Yoda added,"Indeed, responsible, a Master should be."

"Thank you, master Windu."

...

Once he left the temple, Anakin saw he had received a message from Padmé:

///Go to the Hospital, my water just broke!///

Anakin's Face turned bright red. The message was sent about an hour ago.
He frantically got on a speeder and flew through the sky. He hoped he would get there in time to support his wife.

When he entered the lobby he ran into Obi-wan. Although he would hve liked to run, he slowed down, so he couldn't cause suspicion.

Obi-wan questioned him,"Anakin, what are you doing here?"

Anakin was so mentally shaken that he just blurted out,"Padme is giving birth!"

When reality set in, Ani couldn't believe what he had revealed. His jaw dropped and he just stepped away from Obi-wan, towards the elevator.

Obi-wan followed him with a confused expression on his face. Then his expression shifted into something else (think han solo after finding out luke and leia were siblings).

Just as they reached the elevator, Obi-wan said, "you're the father, aren't you?"

Anakin  stepped into the elevator, turned around, and said, "Please don't tell anyone, Master Kenobi!"

Then the elevator doors shut, sending anakin up to the third floor.

At least Anakin knew Obi-wan would stay quiet, since he had the high ground.
