Spread Your Wings

I smiled as I landed in a familiar AU. This one was extremely nostalgic. It had been a while since I came here.

"Milly!"

I was tackled, and immediately kissed by Raven. I broke away, smirking.

"I know it's been a while, but chill your bones, Crow..." I smiled. That was what my saying was for when he was getting too riled up.

"Oh come on, Mil... don't you think I deserve this?" He smiled.

I let my eyes light up with a violet shine. I knew what to do to fluster him.

"In this position, wouldn't want people getting the wrong idea, would we~?" I purred out.

He instantly blushed, getting off me and covering himself with his wings.

"Milly!"

I laughed, sitting up from the sticks and leaves coating the nest's floor.

"Come on... let's go to the lunch hut. I'm starving from all that AU travelling."

Raven didn't move.

"Hey, you okay, Raven?"

Still nothing.

I smiled, "Crow, come on..."

He moved his wings from covering himself, and looked at me, his eye lights shaped like hearts, glowing blue.

When we finally moved to the hut, going across the bridges, I was able to see candles and a fancy setting. No food, just the table set up nicely.

Raven looked sheepish at my stare. I was convinced that he had something to do with this.

"I decided to make this romantic since... we both know you've never been in a 100% real relationship before..."

I hugged him, kissing his cheekbone, "I love it. Let's sit and eat."

We sat down. I was almost tempted to say something to end the silence, but I couldn't.

I kept thinking about stuff, until I glanced over at the door to the hut.

Toriel flew in, bringing out some of her famous pie. I began to eat.

I hummed at the taste. Usually, I wasn't a pie type person, but Toriel just made her pies too good to resist!

Raven smiled, "Enjoying it?"

I just nodded in response. I kept eating, a soft smile on my face.

"That's good. You really are amazing, ya know that?"

I smiled wider, letting my denial of the statement fade. I was still eating, as Raven kept throwing me compliments. I began to realise something was up.

"Hey, Crow, what's going on? You seem more...... flirty than usual... it's only me..."

He looked me in the eyes, and was completely serious.

"I just want to treat you better than that a**hole who dumped you over text and led you on..." he said, confidence and rivalry causing his eyes to glow for a minute.

"Raven, I'm over it. I told him, with lack of better words, to f*** off and leave me alone..."

He chuckled, "You aren't really one for swearing..."

"Seriously, Raven, we didn't even date at all, it was fine. He didn't take me to anything, in fact, he and I haven't seen each other since... before the whole relationship thing..."

"Well, you'll always have me by your side." He smiled, reaching across the table.

I met him halfway, holding his hand in my own in a firm grip.
