Just Settling In

George woke up the smell of smoke, it smelt sorta like burnt bacon but like very burnt bacon. He went to sit up but pain shot through his shoulder and he just collapsed back down hugging the pillow. It smelt like Alex's cologne and it made George relax even more but he had to get up he had lessons at 9 and after checking his phone George seen that it was 8:30
"SHIT ITS HALF EIGHT" he screamed jumping out of bed ignoring the pain in his shoulder.
"George slow down your gonna get dizzy"
"Alex I've got lessons at 9 I've got to go" George was panicking a little as much as he didn't care for others lives (except Alex's) he cared about his own and being late to his lesson would make him feel guilty.
"It's like you forget I've got the same lesson as you George so calm down we'll go get some McDonald's since I sorta fucked up breakfast" Alex looked a little embarrassed admitting he fucked up cooking bacon.
"Ok fine let's do that then" George signed throwing his arms around Alex.
"Ow fuck my shoulder" he winced making Alex smile a little.
"I'll get you some paracetamol for the pain but you shoulda expected it" Alex joked making George go a little red.
"Again Alex I didn't expect to be bitten in my life at any point especially from a guy" George whined a little frustrated but that wasn't what bothered Alex.
"Wait your not.....you know...into guys" Alex asked giving George two pills and a glass of water.
"Can we talk about this later Alex we're already running late and if we don't leave now we won't get McDonald's"
"Sure" Alex's smile faltered a little but he was sure that George would keep his word I mean they've shagged twice surely he was attracted to guys.

Georges POV

"Fucking hell there's still two more hours of this lesson and I really don't wanna have that conversation with Alex" George thought. Maybe if he just left the lesson without the teacher catching him she'd still think he was there cuz he already got his mark. He waited until she turned around to write something on the white board before slipping out of the fire exit that George had disabled the alarm to ages ago for this exact reason. After slipping out he walked around London without much thought as to were he was going suddenly he realised he was outside wills house the kid he nearly killed and decided to knock on the door unsure as to why he did it he thought about running but it was to late. Click.
"HELL-o wait no please surely we still don't have any problems I was drunk please man" will blurted our panic rushing over him.
"Shut up will if that is your name I'm here for two things" George was relaxed, he was sure that he would get what he wanted
"Uh okay sure do you wanna come in and I'll get you a drink if you want"
"Actually will I need a lot of drink if your up for it I'm George by the way" George stuck his hand out and shook Wills.
"YEAH IM ALWAYS DOWN TO GET DRUNK" Will shouted a smile plastered on his face.
"What'll it be whiskey or vodka"
"Both"

Alex's POV

Alex looked behind him and noticed instantly that George wasn't there, but how, he didn't walk out the front otherwise he would've seen him and the fire exit was alarmed. Alex was confused and didn't even notice that he'd been staring at where George once was for 5 minutes.
"Okay Alex since you've been paying the most attention how would you make someone really uncomfortable in a negative way when talking to them" said Mrs Vincent her voice as nasally as ever.
"Why you askin me clearly there's a whole class to chose from and you choose the guy who's just minding his own business ignoring you" he spat causing the rest of the class to laugh.
"CLASS DISMISSED EVERYONE LEAVE NOW OTHER THAN YOU ALEX" the teacher boomed causing a loud "waaaaay" from the rest of the class along with a few "thanks Alex we owe you one" from some of lads that sit at the back and talk all lesson. After the class emptied Alex mentally prepared himself for the scolding he was gonna get but he could only focus on George, where did go, why did he go but was soon distracted by the teacher.
"Alex why did you feel the need to do that your one of the best students in this class and this behaviour is just random and uncalled for" she huffed in a sympathetic but disappointed tone which Alex hated.
"I don't know I'm just stressed lately and I guess I just lost it" an obvious lie but the teacher bought it and just gave the usual "don't do this again" talk and dismissed Alex. Not knowing what to do he decided to text George.

Alex: fine I'm going
to a friends

With that Alex decided to walk to his friend Wills who was sure would've been dead if it wasn't for Alex chasing George and stopping him. It took about 10 minutes since he knew where he was going and when he got there he heard....music? Maybe he just had a few friends around nothing new there. Knock knock knock. It took a few more knocks until will opened the door revealing that he was indeed drunk.
"ALEEEEEEX" he slured
"Drunk already how the fuck did you do that?"
"SHUT UP AND COME GET DRUNK WITH MY NEW FRIEND GEORGE" will shouted pulling Alex into the house and slamming the door closed. Sure enough Alex seen George dancing in the living room attempting orange justice but failing horribly and falling in the floor giggling like a child.
"Will didn't he try beating you up since when did you become friends" Alex was confused why would George come here and why were they both drunk.
"Yeah but he s-said he was having female problems and knew I'd have drinks and I figured I'd get to know him so he didn't hi-hit me again" Will slurred and Alex's heart dropped. "Girl problems" he thought did the past 2 nights mean nothing to George, did he mean nothing to George was this all just a game to George make sure that Alex didn't kill him or something.
"You alright Alex" will asked concern coving his face.
"Yeah I think I'm gonna go get something to drink" Alex's said a false smile plastered on his face.
"WAAAAAY GEORGE ALEX IS GONNA DRINK WITH US" Will boomed earning a loud "WAAAAAY" from George in reply. With that Alex went to the kitchen and grabbed a large bottle of whiskey taking a large swig which soothed his throat before sitting in a battered arm chair. Tonight was gonna be a long night and Alex was just settling in.

A/n so I was writing this cuz I was bored and realised that some people had actually read my other chapters so I guess that means I have to start putting in more effort in my work so sorry for any mistakes made in previous chapters and I'll do my best to improve
