Alex's POV
Alex woke up to sound of whispers and a banging headache.
"Fuck'n hell my head kills" his words were groggy but seemed to startle everyone out there whispers.
"You alright Alex? You took a real 'it from that lad eh" it was will, his Yorkshire accent more present than ever maybe because he wasn't drunk.
"You fool Alex I don't know what got into you" this was a voice Alex was strangely glad to here it was James's.
"Just shush please my heads killing me an also where's George?"
"Umm well i don't actually know we tried callin 'im off mine and your phone and left 'im a ton of messages but he ain't even seen 'em" Will's voice was full of concern but also a bit of confusion it was George after all who walked out after seeing Alex in a shit situation.
"Fuck this is all his fault man why didn't he help me? he seen me so why didn't he help?" Alex tried sitting up but immediately stopped himself as pain seared through his head.
"Woah slow down mate don't want you fallin an hittin your head....again" will joked about just to make the atmosphere a little lighter and it seemed to work for a tiny bit. "But why wasn't he here by my side comforting me and telling me it was gonna be okay? Was this just because he wanted to avoid the conversation? Did he actually like a girl?" All of these thoughts ran through Alex's mind at once causing a tear to roll down his cheeks.
"Hey what's the matter don't worry it's gonna be alright" will put his hand on Alex's shoulder.
"No no it's not this all my fault" Alex was full on crying at this point.
"What's your fault the fact that you got head butted? Cuz if thats it then you should know it wasn't, not really you were drunk Alex" Alex shook his head the whole time.
"No I mean George leaving it's all my fault I just wanted to talk and i scared him away" Alex sobbed.
"Old on are you tellin me that you an George are like a thing?" Will was confused Alex never told him about this. Alex merely nodded his head.
"Oh my god Will give me George's number I'm gonna harass him until he picks up" James looked excited but angry at the same time and if he was honest James was only here because Will asked him to come so that he could get a lift back home.

Time skip
10:35am

George's POV
George woke up to the sound of beeping. It was annoying because that was all he could hear.
"Someone shut that off" he groaned. Still beeping. He opened his eyes to see.....no one. He almost panicked when he realised that there were needles with tubes stuck all in his left arm when a nurse burst through the door followed by a doctor.
"Hi George I'm Dr Clevestine good to see your awake so do you know where you are and how you got here?" He was formal, too formal almost like a teacher or something but then again it's kinda his job to be.
"Well I'm in hospital which means I got here by ambulance probably I don't know all I remember was that I got stabbed and then the police arrived then it all went black" George was reminiscent as he tried to peace together everything that had happened.
"Well you've got 12 stitches and you were lucky really because they just missed your kidneys by 3 millimetres you passed out from pain and not to lack of blood like we first thought so all in all your gonna be in pain for a few weeks and we want to keep you in overnight to make sure your all good to go tomorrow" George just nodded and smiled. So he was gonna be out tomorrow, so what, that meant going back to his shitty dorm and doing nothing. Just as the doctors left they started whispering to someone but who? Was it Will I mean I know they only got on good terms last night but George felt he knew him enough now, or was it Alex. In his mind he was hoping it was Alex so he could apologise to him for not stepping in but also for running away from his conversation that he wanted so badly. Instead it was two police officers the ones George had seen before.
"Hi George we're just here to give you your phone back we found it on the floor next to you on the street and to tell you that we're going to visit you in the next few days or so to talk about the incident"
"Oh okay thanks"
"No problem" and with that the officers left and George was back to listening to the constant beeping and he decided to check is phone.
