Chapter 2

( Lucy's pov)

Sebastian and I return to the manor, Ciel is awake/ alive now. We walk in and were greeted by three faces that look like they've just seen a ghost. Well I guess in a way they have. "Hey guys!" I say smiling and waving. "Is it really you Lucy?" They all say in unison.

"Yup! Sorry about making you guys think I was dead." I apologize. They look to Sebastian for confirmation and he nods. Mey-Rin, Finny ,and Bard all hug me and sob." we thought you were dead!" I hear them cry.

When they finally let go Bard asked "so what happened to you? Where'd you go?" "I had to go back home for a bit. Again I'm sorry I didn't write to let you know I was ok." I answer with my hand on the back of my neck.

"Well you're here now that's all that matters." Finny says. "Just don't let us think you're dead when your really not." Met-Rin says. I nod " don't worry I won't, I promise." I say.

"So is that what they wear where your from?" Bard asked. "Yup I brought more clothes like this with me for around the manor on my days off." I answer.

Let me explain. When I 'died' I was sent back to my world. For what reason I don't know, I saw the red orb again a few weeks ago. This time I was smart and brought some more comfortable clothes with me. When I returned here in the black butler world. The new story line hadn't started yet so I kept my distance. how did I manage this you ask? easy, I just hung out in the woods around Alois's mansion until the day I saw Sebastian at the doorstep.

"So Mey-Rin, do you guys still have my old maids uniform?" I asked. "Yes we do. none of us could get rid of it since it was all we had to remember you by." She explains.

I apologize again then ask "where is it? I'm hoping to start work again soon." I ask. "It's in your room on your bed." she says I nod and go to my room.

When I reach my room I see it is just how it was before I 'died'. I open the draw on the vanity to see the picture I took of Sebastian was still there. He must not know it wasn't destroyed by Pluto. I smile at seeing this, then try on the maids uniform to be sure it still fit.

After trying the uniform on and seeing that it's a bit lose on me I change back into what I was wearing and find my sewing machine.

As I'm making alterations to the uniform Sebastian walks in. " It's strange seeing you in here again." he says. "it feels good to be back I missed everyone.... Especially you." I say and feel my cheeks heat up. He kissed me when he saw I was alive but he never really said how he felt. "Sebastian?" I say. "Yes." he answers "what are your feelings towards me? You haven't said. Sorry if I'm putting you on the spot."

"I thought you were aware. Lucy...I love you." he says my heart races and I'm over joyed. I smile, get up and kiss him. "I love you too." I say to him. I then return to sewing. He walks over and says "what's this?" I look over. I had put the picture I took of Sebastian on the vanity. "That's the picture I took of you when Megan was here." I tell him. "But I thought Pluto destroyed it." He says. "Yea I kinda snuck it out before he could. " "And you've had it all this time?" He asks. "Yup!" I say smiling. "So does Ciel remember me?" I ask. "No. but I have informed him that you are a demon, you know what's going to happen, and that your our new maid." He says.

"Ok. So when do I officially start as a maid again?" I ask. "Tomorrow." he tells me. "Awesome. I can't wait!" I say excited.
