Returning dreams (black butler fanfic book 2)

Chapter 7

( Sebastian's pov)

When I land on the tracks the train is coming towards me and a put my hand up. The train comes in contact with my hand as I proceed to slow the train down to a stop. The train stops just a few feet away from falling off the edge of a broken bridge. Once stopped I go find my master and Lucy.

( Lucy's pov)

I'm with Ciel back in the train " we still haven't retrieved the kidnaped boy." Ciel states. "Ya ya, I know come on we need to go to the goods wagon." I say. When we reach the goods wagon I open up the crate that was holding the ' mummy' and move the so called ' corpse'. "Help me" the boy says gasping for air. "It's alright." I say and help him out of the sarcophagus. Ciel is then grabbed with his mouth covered,I roll my eyes. I hold out my hand and say "continere." my eyes glow crimson red and the man holding Ciel struggles to move. "What the hell did you do?!?" He says in a panic. With my hand still extended I say "nunquam ad evanescunt iterum inveniatur.".The assassin then vanished and Ciel was free.

We then take the boy to his father and meet up with Sebastian. "Hey, Sebastian over here!" I shout as I wave. We walk up to each other. "Not too shabby." I say to Sebastian. "Thank you. did you find the young boy?" He asks. "Yup. Ciel almost got captured by the assassin but, I handled it." I reply.

Edward then comes up to the three of us holding his stomach in pain and says " Seeing as all is well and good now. what about the cholera out break?". "Oh please it's not cholera." I say. Sebastian then hands Edward a bottle and he drinks it. "I'm cured, I'm cured!" Edward shouts as he frolics around.

"Here. some tea was spilt during all the commotion. A true butler would have sorted that out with out the slightest rocking of the train." Claude says as he holds out s stained table cloth. " I was not the one who removed the roof of the car. However it looks like you took some damage as well." Sebastian says. Claude tucks the cloth in to his pocket then holds out an envelope. "What's this?" Sebastian asks. "If you want to investigate my master simply come in through the front gate." Claude says. Sebastian glares at him with suspicion, I glare at him with hatred. "You do want to help young Ciel, he is so desperate for revenge." Claude says.

Time skip ~ back at the manor.

When we return to the manor I go to inform the others of the ball. When I find them I say. "Hey guys guess what?" "What is it lucy." they all say in unison. "We've been invited to a costume ball!" I say. "What do you mean?" Bard asks. "Well Ciel got an invitation to Alois Trancy's costume ball, and as long as we're in costume us servants can attend." I explain. "Oh how exciting." Mey-Rin says. "So when is this ball?" Bard asks. " In two days. so you have time to figure out your costume." I reply.

The three then start to discuss their costumes then Finny asks "lucy what are you going as?". "You'll find out. I actually should start making it." I say. "Come on tell us." Mey-Rin pleads. "nope it's a surprise. "

Time skip~ day off the ball~ on the way there.

Bard, finny, and Mey-Rin are sitting on the bench at the front of the cartage, bard is driving. I'm sitting on the roof of the carriage and Sebastian and Ciel are in the carriage. "A ball, a ball, were going to a ball!" The three chant with excitement. "So lucy you gonna tell us what your going as now?" Bard asks. "Like I've been saying for the past few days, it's a secret. besides even if I told you you wouldn't know who it is." I reply. "Why wouldn't we know who it is?" Mey-Rin asks. " It's someone from an anime. Not this one though." I reply. "Well I can't wait too see it!" Finny says excited, I smile at all of there excitement. I missed this.

We pull up to Alois's mansion, Ciel and Sebastian get out if the carriage and begin to walk up to the door when they paused. "Lucy aren't you coming?" Ciel asks. "Umm I thought I had to go with the others seeing as how I'm a servant." I reply. " You are needed in gathering information. now are you coming or not?" Ciel asks now annoyed. I nod and jump off the roof of the carriage. "Bye guys see you later." I say as the three leave.

Sorry it's a short chapter, I didn't get a chance to write today I'll definitely write more tomorrow. ^_^
