Chapter 12

( Sebastian's pov)

I'm in the study informing my master of his scheduled plans for the day. " And one last thing master. This came for you." I say as I hand him an envelope. The code of arms pressed into the wax, was that of the Trancy household.

He opens the letter and reads it. " on behalf of the count Alois Trancy. I write to lord Ciel phantomhive to apologize for my masters discourtesy at the ball the other day. And request your most honored presence at the ball here at the Trancy mansion at four o'clock tomorrow afternoon. " He says. He then tears up the letter.

Time skip~The next day

It's late in the morning when the young master says "When Lucy returns inform her that we will be going to this ball at the Trancy mansion." He continued. "Yes my lord." I reply.

( Lucy's pov)

So today I had the day to myself. So this morning I decided to go out into town for the day. It's so good to get out of that manor every once in a while. I thought. As I walked around I window shopped. I'm surprised nothing else has happened in the storyline yet... Oh well I'm sure it's happening soon anyway. I then saw a stray cat and thought it would make a good present for Sebastian.

I followed the cat as it turned down an alley. I figured I would be fine since I am a demon after all. But I turns out I was wrong. Someone grabbed me from behind covering my mouth with a cloth. I soon lost concessions.

( Sebastian's pov)

"Master lucy has not yet returned." I informed the young master as we were leaving for the the Trancy mansion. "Fine .Let's just go." he said with an annoyed sigh. " Very well." I answer. I'm surprised she's been out all day. however she is a demon with far more abilities then me. however I'm still worried about her.

After a train ride we soon arrive at the Trancy mansion.

As the young master steps out of the carriage Alois says " Ciel! I'm so glad you came! Welcome!". "Good afternoon lord Trancy." my master replies. "Come with me we're holding a special party in your honor." Alois says as he directs us.

When we arrive at the destination the young lord says " what's this?". "It appears to be a dueling arena." I reply. "Here's an idea Ciel! Let's have our butlers do the work. They can dance in our places." Alois says ."Whoever can keep dancing the longest will win her." He continued pointing to an unconscious Lucy who's tied to the top of one of the many statues.

My eyes widen in concern then narrow with anger as I look back to Alois and Claude. "And the loser will have to follow any orders given by the victor. What do you say Ciel? Do we have a deal then?" Alois says.

I then lean down and whisper to the young lord " it seems we weren't alone in our thinking master. it seems they have planed a death match as well."."sounds like exactly the sort of party I had in mind. I much preferred dressing up I silly costumes anyway." the young master said. "Sebastian this is an order! Win and bring Alois Trancy to stand before me! But don't kill him, I'll take care of that matter personally." He continued. " Of course. Yes my lord." I reply.
