Chapter 28 (special)

This chapter doesn't follow the anime. I have been having trouble trying to figure out how to incorporate Lucy into the last bit of the story line.

So to make up for lost time I decided to write a special chapter that doesn't follow the story line of the anime. The next chapter will be back on track.

Again sorry for not updating for a while and I hope you enjoy this chapter.

( Lucy's pov)

After I woke up this morning I took a bath and got dressed. Once that was done I started on my chores for the day. "Morning Sebastian." I said as I walked in the kitchen. "Good morning Lucy." he replied.

"So what's in store for me today? Anything new and exciting." I asked. "You can help me prepare breakfast if you'd like." he answers. I got way to excited for that. I finally get to cook again. "Awesome! So what's on the menu?".

"Belgium waffles with some side fruits." he answers. "So what can I do to help?". "You can start by following that recipe for the batter." he says pointing to the slip of paper on the counter. I nod and as I'm collecting the ingredients he says " oh and Lucy. no food fights this time please.".

I rolled my eyes and said "you I did mature a bit in the two weeks I was gone.". he stopped what he was doing and just stared at me. "What?" I ask. "You weren't gone for two weeks Lucy." he says. Oh that's right I never told him. "Yes I was. I spent one week trying to adjust back to the life I had in the other world. At the beginning of the second week the red orb showed up, at the end of the week once I had everything I wanted to bring with me I came back to this world." I explained.

" You were gone for a month and a half." he says. "Well yeah to you I was. I had to stay in 'hiding' until the new storyline started up." I say. i went back to mixing ingredients. " and how were you able to tell when the new 'story line' was starting?" He asked still staring at me. " I may or may not have stalked Alois's mansion until the night I saw you there." I explain.

Just as I feel Sebastian starting to get mad at me bard walked in and said "Sebastian, the young master is looking for you.". Sebastian then leaves and I continue making breakfast. By the time breakfast is done being made Sebastian comes back. "What did Ciel want?" I ask.

"He informed me that there is to be a ball held later this week." He says. "Cool there hasn't been one in a while." I say. I then turn and hand Sebastian the waffles and fruit. "Here you go I managed to finish making breakfast while you were gone." . He looks surprised and not at the fact that I was able to finish, but at the fact the kitchen wasn't an insane mess.

He then leaves with the tray and I resume my daily chores.

Time skip ~ end of the week

So today is the day of the ball I have my outfit all picked out. I'm not wearing a dress I'm actually going to be wearing an outfit that I brought with me from my world. I also have something planes for tonight that Mey-Rin agreed to help with. Although it took some convincing to get her on board.

I spend most of the day helping set of for later tonight. Ciel has allowed all the servants to attend. I might have had something to do with that decision.
Once were all done setting up I grab Mey-Rin and drag her to my room so we can get ready for tonight.

I change into my outfit, its a white short sleeve shirt with a blue and white vest, along with some jean shorts and sneakers. I put my hair into a braid and then go to help Mey-Rin with her outfit. When I walk out she says "Lucy is that what your wearing?" "Yea why?" I say like its no big deal. "But your showing so much skin it's not appropriate." she says.

"Well you're outfit is pretty much the same. sorry but, trust me with what we agreed to do your going to need to wear this. it will be easier to move around in." I explain. She seemed hesitant as I held out her outfit. It was a hot pink top with a black jacket that ended mid torso, as white jean shorts.

Once she was changed I put her hair up in a sock bun. After she was already I grabbed my phone and we made our way to where the ball was being held.

When I entered the room I noticed Mey-Rin wasn't with me. I then looked back out into the hall and motioned for her to come in. She just shook her head. I walked over to her grabbed her wrist, staged her into the room and said "come on you can't back out on me now.".

The two of us then enter the room to see a good portion of the guests have arrived. Everyone was staring at us " I told you this wasn't a good idea, yes I did." Mey-Rin says with nervousness in her voice. "Maybe... but it'll still be fun!" I say. We then meet up with the others as the last of the guests arrive.

About half way through the night I grabbed Mey-Rin and then got everyone's attention. That really wasn't hard to to with the outfits we had on. "Ready?" I ask "I guess so." she replies. I take out my phone and quite enough for no one to hear I say "frequentia crescere.".

I then turn on the music and the song Uptown Funk starts to play. And a few seconds into the song we dance to it. I can hear People are whispering I'm guessing about the dancing. I mean it's not exactly appreciate for this time period. About half way through the song we go out into the crowd of people and we grab Bard, Finny, and Sebastian.

The look on Sebastian's face when I grabbed him to dance was priceless. " Follow along." I said to them. I tried to stick to the dances I taught Bard and Finny but they gave up in seconds. Mey-Rin quit with them she looked beat. It was just me and Sebastian dancing now and he was having no problem following along.

So I decided to step it up a notch. The moves got more complex and had a faster motion to them. He was still keeping up. Guess that's what I would expect from Sebastian. Although I don't believe I've ever shown him how we dance in world in from.

The song comes to an end and I'm out of breath. "Are you alright Lucy?" Sebastian asks. " I nod "yeah... just need... a drink. I'll be back." I said while trying to catch my breath.

The rest of the night I hang out with Sebastian and the others, Occasionally Lizzy. The night soon comes to a close and Mey-Rin and myself change. Once she's finished she says goodnight and leaves the room. I put on my pajamas; a tank top and cool pajama bottoms. Just as I'm about to get into bed there's a knock at the door.

"Come in." I say and Sebastian enters the room. "What's up? It's not like you to show up in the middle of the night." I say. "I never complemented you on your dance this evening. I was wonderful." he says. "Why thank you but, I believe the phrase your looking for is ' the dance was bad ass'." I say pulling down the sheets on the bed.

"Are you going to bed?" He asks. "Well it is almost one in the morning and I'm beat sooo yea I'm going to bed. why?" I ask. " No reason. I'll be off then. Good night." he says as he heads for the door. "Lier." I say. "I'm sorry?" He says.

"Have you forgotten I can use my powers to read minds. Come on." I say patting the spot next to me I bed. His expression looks as though he's confused. "Look I get that for demons in this world sleep is rare. And I've noticed you watching me fall asleep at night." I say. He then walks further into the room shutting the door.

"And how exactly do you know that?" He asks. Is ot just me or is he trying to sound clueless. " Well my doorway is right across from this window. It's not hard to make out a reflection when I'm half asleep." I reply.

He then gets under the covers with me and wraps his arm around my waist. "Oh and one more thing. How exactly did you know those dance moves? I only taught them to the others." I ask turning to face him. "I have my ways." he says "and would your ways involve spying on me teaching Mey-Rin the routine for tonight?" I ask.

He smirks and says " why would I ever spy?" "Oh please your known for your spying skills among many other skills." I say. "I'll take that as a compliment." he says. "Well it kind of was a compliment so if you took it as an insult, you would have issues." I say.

We then just stare at each other in silence. As I start to does off I feel Sebastian lips touch mine, once that feeling is gone I smile and turn back around to get comfortable. He then places his arm back around my waist and I fall asleep.
