~Ch. 10 - Is It Over?~

"DAD!" You screamed in tears, barely moving.

"DAD NO!"

You run over to your father, throwing yourself in front of the beast attacking him. By putting your hands up in front of you, you push him away from you using Razor wind.

"Stay the hell away from him," you stay in a voice laced with venom.

"Oh, dear y/n, it's nice of you to join us again! Let me introduce you to someone made just for you..." Shig glares at you then back to the beast, "Meet the Anti-Symbol of Peace, the bioengineered being named Nomu, inspired by you."

"Inspired by me? How honored I am..." you speak back, "If you were smart you would leave now. You know I'll beat you again. Especially with the new tricks I have up my sleeve."

You take a deep breath and focus on the ground under Shig. Before you barely could think about it, the ground under him shattered, creating a mini sinkhole. To your surprise, Shig took no time in jumping out of the way.

"So that's what game you wanna play? Fine then, let's add some more players."

Turning around, Shig lunged ahead of him, straight toward who you now noticed were Midoriya and Tsu and grape head.

Reaching out his hand, Shig reached for Tsu.

"NO!" You screamed and teleported in front of her, ready to take the damage.

But the hurt never came.

"You really are cool eraser head," Shig says with a smirk.

Your teacher had stopped his quirk from hurting you. Maybe it was just because you were his student, But you wanted to believe it was because, maybe, he cared.

Before you could think anymore, Deku let out a powerful punch right at Shig. You quickly turned and shielded Tsu and grape boy from the blast. The power from his punch was hard against you.

'Damn, this kid must be All Mights apprentice...'

As the smoke cleared, you look behind you at Deku. What you see is shocking.

The Nomu was at the hard-hitting end of the punch and yet was unharmed.

'How the fuck...'

"You children...I'm done with you," says Shig. The Nomu snaped to look at Deku, while Shig lunged at you and your classmates.

"LIKE HELL YOU ARE!" you scream in his face. Within milliseconds, you teleported you, Tsu, Grape boy, and Deku next to your father's bloody body.

You looked down at your father and reach to touch him, transferring some of his wounds to you.

"I can't take all your damage, but I can take some. I'm so sorry. This is my fault." You say in a sad voice.

While you take in some of the damage, you immediately regenerate the wounds on yourself. Doing this loses energy, but you had plenty from your new quirks and your father is worth it.

Before you can take much, however, the Nomu runs at you with full speed, ready to pounce. You brace yourself for it but before the hit lands, a boom of the doors breaking down stops you all.

"It's fine... I'm here now..." Says All Might, strutting down the stairs towards you guys as the villains and students watch in awe.

He quickly runs to the center of the battle and takes Aizawa from behind you before you could even do anything.

'Of course the second he arrives everything is better. Where were you when my mom needed help? Or do you only save who you find worthy?'

You always blamed heroes for not rescuing you and your mom. You respected them, but never truly adored them as much as others did. They failed you, so why count on them? You are a hero now.
