~Ch. 29 - Observation~

"And now, we will begin the practical exam," Aizawa announced as he stood in front of many different heroes from school. "It is possible to fail this exam. Don't make stupid mistakes. I'm sure you guys have gathered info on what the exam will be on today?"

"Fighting robots! Piece of cake!" Kaminari yelled out in glee.

"For many reasons, the exam will be very different this time! No robots!" Principle Nezu called out.

"Huh?" Mina called out in surprise.

"We will be focusing on person-to-person combat from now on! We will form you all into teams of two to fight against one teacher!" Nezu smiled as he explained.

"Pairs have already been decided as well as who you will fight against. They were based on many factors. You will either put your teacher in handcuffs or escape from your stage. We will have weights on also so we will be slowed down," Aizawa spoke out, "First team, Todoroki and Yaoyorozu. You will be fighting against me. Midoriya and Bakugou are a team, and their opponent is All Might."

He continued to call out names of teams and who they would fight one after another. The thing is, you didn't hear your name called.

"Excuse me, who am I being paired with? You never called me and everyone else has a partner," you say as you look around at the teams.

"That, y/n, is because you will be fighting alone!" Nezu smiled as he broke the news to you.

"That doesn't sound very fair," Uraraka said while standing next to you.

"Alone? Why? Against who?" You were so lost.

"Y/n, it isn't a secret that you have the most experience here out of your peers and we have seen that you have not used your full strength. We are here to challenge you and better you. That is why, after everyone battles, you will be fighting All Might alone!"

"B-But I... I can't... I won't do that!" You called out to your teachers.

"You can, and you will. You will be fine." Nezu said with a smile, "We will be here if it gets out of control!"

"What does he mean 'out of control'? Is y/n that dangerous?" You heard a voice of one of your peers say. You clenched your fists.

"Go all out of me, y/n! I have fought many villains in my day!" All Might said to you as he held up and thumbs up.

"Yeah... I learned from them," You said to him. He cringed at your cold response.

~Time skip~

You were now in the Monitor Room with your peers. Instead of really watching, you were more focussed on battle strategy against All Might.

'All Might is strong, but I know how to beat him. He isn't perfect by any means. I would just have to see what strategy he goes for. If he wants to battle up close I can always touch him and Paralyze him but if he chooses to stay far away then I can just teleport to the exit. I just... I can't risk going full strength on him or anyone. I will lose control and could kill someone... I can't...'

The rounds ensue one after another, team after team winning or losing. You were so caught up in your thoughts, you didn't even notice.

You walked over to the door and rested your head. "Deku? Can you wake me when you are going to fight? I need sleep but want to see what All Might does with you two."

"Of course, y/n!" Deku smiled at you as you closed your eyes.

You breathed heavily as you got back into fighting position.
