~Ch. 20 - Hot and Cold~

"They have you heard from Iida?" Uraraka asked nervously.

"He said he had to leave. He's calling out of the festival. I asked why but he didn't respond. It must be personal, maybe his family?" You looked at Uraraka.

"I don't know, maybe his brother. We should go check on Deku and make sure he's okay!" Uraraka got up and you followed suit. "I'll come too," Tsu said. "Me three!" Called Mineta close behind.

You all walked to Recovery Girls office. Uraraka came running through the door and you all followed close behind. "Deku!" and all shouted in unison, "Are you okay?"

You looked in front of you and saw All Might in his true form. Before you could do anything, Uraraka came forward. "Oh, nice to meet you, sir!" All Might just nodded. You sighed in relief.

'Of course, they don't recognize him... thank god...'

"Everyone... isn't there another match?" Deku muttered weakly in the hospital bed.

"There's a lot of damage to it so they are repairing it right now," Tsu responded.

"That match was scary, Midoriya..." Mineta said shaking.

"All of you, get out now. I need to start the surgery," Recovery girl shoved you all out of the room.

"Wait, I can help! I can take away some of his wounds-" You began but were caught off guard.

"Y/n... I can't allow you to do that. I did this to myself. I can't rely on everyone for everything. I'll be okay. I promise," Deku gave you a weak smile from his bed.

You can't transfer already healed wounds to your body and regenerate them, it only works if they are fresh. You wanted to help, but you couldn't do it with force. You listened to his wishes.

"Okay... See you later Deku. I don't want to get used to you in a hospital bed..." You and the group left.

As you were walking back to the stands, you thought of something.

"Guys, I'll be back. I need to talk to someone really quickly," You stopped in your tracks as the group nodded and went to their seats.

You turned around and went to the waiting rooms. You needed to find Todoroki and talk to him about what had happened with you and his father.

You went into the first waiting room and didn't see him at first. "Todo, we need to talk," you called out in case he was in there.

When you were about to turn around and leave you heard footsteps. "What is it, y/n?" Todoroki came from around the corner. You gasped lightly as you looked at the boy in front of you.

Todoroki was shirtless and sweaty still from his battle. He had a new shirt in his hand he had yet to put on, not like you minded this. You gulped and bit your lip as your eyes traveled down his figure. His toned muscles and perfectly sculpted abs...

You caught your eyes wondering and quickly went back to make eye contact with him. You knew he probably noticed but he didn't take any action to show his response to your glances. You cleared your throat before you continued.

"You put up a good fight against Deku. You even used your fire. It was... very beautiful."

Todoroki leaned his shoulder against the wall and crossed his arms, "That isn't why you are here now, is it?"

"No... Not really..." You took a deep breath and continued, "It is about your father."

"If this has something to do with me using fire, it isn't because of him," Todoroki glared at you, "Just leave if you are just going to talk about hi-"
