Jake has always been gay, but at first his father didn't accept it, he didn't appreciate his only son, apart from three little girls, was feminine. Jake was accepted as a gay by his father when he was accepted into college on a sports scholarship, therefore proving his masculine side. ⚫

Jake hadn't dated many guys, maybe one or two, but they always ended horribly and his best friend Yuuki was always there when they did go bad.

He saw Yuuki as something more than a friend, or at least his heart did, he wouldn't accept it himself.

Yuuki is a very quiet laid back kinda guy, but tenses around all the girls that practically attack Jake. Since he usually wears glasses, Yuuki is noticed as a beautiful guy, but his silver hues tend to captivate those he makes eye contact with. Jake saw his eyes, and practically declared Yuuki his best friend. -friend zoned-
