chapter 6

kth POV

right when I died in my game, I heard the doorbell ring.

"perfect timing." I muttered to myself and got up.

I walked down the stairs and made my way to the door.

I swung it open and it was namjoon, jeongguk, and jin hyung holding bags of food.

"holy shit why'd you buy so much food?" I asked with my widened eyes.

"cause you never have anything in your fridge taehyung!" jin yelled and we all laughed.

I moved out of the way and they walked in, not forgetting to take there shoes off.

"just set the food on the counter." I said pointing to it and they set it down.

I went over to look at what they brought and I saw a set of mike's hard lemonade and soju.

"how the hell did you guys buy this? none of you are old enough." I asked.

"somehow jin has friends that work at the convenient store that let it slip." namjoon said glancing over at jin hyung who looked proud.

"what a plug. and since when did you guys get close huh? you even dropped your honorifics." I crossed my arms trying to tease them.

jin hyung blushed a little which definitely did not go unnoticed by me.

"what do you mean? namjoon and I are closer in age so it's fine. you should be calling namjoon hyung too yknow." jin hyung said rather defensively which made jeongguk snicker a bit.

"blah blah blah whatever! honorifics are stupid with you guys anyways, I feel like we are close enough to just drop them." I said.

"yeah even though it's been only a week, i feel like I've known you all for longer. well besides namjoon obviously." jeongguk said.

we all nodded in agreement.

"well whatever, let's take this to my room and just chill in there." I said and grabbed a bag.

they agreed and we all went upstairs and set them on the floor in my room.

"let's craft!" jeongguk said excited and we all grabbed a controller.

About four hours have passed and now it's 8pm.

we stopped crafting about 30 minutes ago to eat the instant ramen. we were all sitting spread out in my room while eating and chatting. I was on the floor by the tv with my legs crossed. jeongguk was sitting on my spinny chair next to my desk spinning it back and forth. Jin hyung was on my bed with his legs sprawled out and namjoon was sitting on my blue bean bag that was close to the bed.

"yknow I was just thinking randomly but, how come you and jeongguk get along so well? you are polar opposites." jin hyung asked as he was blowing on his noodles.

me and jeongguk just glanced at each other and looked back at jin hyung.

"I guess it's because we are polar opposites that we get along well." I said and jin just nodded his head.

"I can see how that makes sense. You know what they say, opposites attract." He replied and continued eating.

I looked over at jeongguk and he smirked.

"I guess that makes sense with you and namjoon too. jin hyung is like a flower boy and namjoon looks intimidating. I even see you guys talking all on your own during school. it makes me think that maybe you guys are even closer then taehyung and I." jeongguk said to the both of them and I started to snicker.

namjoon just looked away and continued eating while jin hyung's face was red.

he reached for a pillow and threw it at jeongguk, making the rest of us laugh.

"defensive much?" jeongguk chuckled.

jin hyung rolled his eyes.
"what are you even talking about. namjoon and I are friends, are you trying to make assumptions?"

"nah nah I'm just teasing the both of you." jeongguk laughed and I nodded with agreement.

"well all this teasing is making me tired and the night is too young for us to go to bed. hand me the alcohol, tae." namjoon said and put his empty cup that was once filled with noodles, into the garbage next to him.

I sighed and groaned as I got up and walked over to grab the bag filled with the alcohol.

I walked over to him and held out two different bottles.

"alright so do you want hard lemonade or soju?" I asked displaying them.

"soju please." namjoon replied and I handed it to him.

I turned my body to jin hyung and displayed it in front of him too.
"lemonade or soju?"

"lemonade please." jin hyung smiled as I handed it to him.

"of course you chose the hard lemonade. you are bad with alcohol and this only has 5% alcohol." I teased him and in return I got a kick in the thigh, making me wince as he mocked me.

"and so what if I am? at least I know it and take care of myself by choosing the safer option." He rolled his eyes and scoffed making me laugh.

I then walked about 2 feet towards jeongguk and asked him the same question.

"soju for me." jeongguk replied and I gave it to him as I also took one out for myself. I took a seat on the ground where I was before and popped my bottle open, taking the first sip.

"gahh it's been I while since I've drank." I said and they nodded.

"yeah same. I usually like to go drinking but I can never do it with jeongguk." namjoon said and I raised a brow.

"how come?" I asked.

"he is the most annoying drunkard I've ever met! he's a sad and horny drunk when he drinks too much. yknow how hard it is to get him to cooperate? If you are trying to help him stand, he'll
complain about being single but then also start touching you everywhere and asking you 'oh god I'm so lonely! if you sleep with me I'll be happy. please!'. Like FUCK it is so troublesome." namjoon went off and jin hyung and I start laughing our asses off.

"damn I had no idea I was that bad." jeongguk said shocked.

"yeah well now you know. that also means you can't drink too much. now that I think of it we shouldn't have bought so much alcohol. you may get tempted." namjoon teased and the rest of us chuckled.

"as long as you watch over me then I'll be alright!" jeongguk said jokingly.

"jin hyung is like the absolute opposite. whenever he drinks more then the amount he can take, which is not a lot, he starts to sing random shit and touch random objects. he turns into a little kid and them throws it all up. after that, he is completely passed out." I said and we laughed as namjoon literally cackled.

"what is so funny? at least I'm not jeongguk." jin hyung says and crosses his arms.

"ahh even sober he is still like a kid." jeongguk said and we laughed even making jin chuckle.
