chapter 7

kth POV

it's 11pm and jin hyung and namjoon are already knocked out. jin hyung ended up getting drunk and namjoon had to take him to the bathroom to let him throw up. after that jin hyung and namjoon came back and crashed on my bed. I guess that leaves me and jeongguk on the floor.

jeongguk was still drinking and I can't even count how many bottles he's emptied.

I got up and walked towards him and took the bottle from his hand, which was also the last.

"hey I think you've had enough jeongguk." I said to him quietly trying not to disturb jin hyung and namjoon.

he lazily tried reaching for the bottle that I held in my hands but I just moved it closer to me.

I set it down on a shelf while he wasn't looking.

"I'll be right back. I'm going to get blankets and pillows for us." I said and was about to walk away but he grabbed my wrist.

"w-wait. I'll go with you." He stuttered and struggled to stand up still.

"you're drunk aren't you jeongguk." I said more like a statement then a question.

"s-sorry." he said and brushed his hair back with his fingers.

his face was a bit pink and shiny. I sighed and pulled his hand off of my wrist.

"k fine, but if you pass out in the middle of the hallway I'm gonna leave you there." I threatened while walking out the door as he followed behind me.

"I'm not that drunk. I was just a little drowsy earlier. I'm better now." He said to me and I just chuckled.

"yeah right." I replied and kept walking to the closet in the hall that we stored all the extra blankets and pillows.

I opened it and grabbed a thick comforter.

"here jeongguk, you can hold this." I held out the comforter towards him so he could grab it.

his hair covered his eyes as he slowly reached and took it from my hands, but then dropped it on the floor.

I sighed.

"seriously. you can't even do the simplest of task." I groaned.

as I was about to kneel down to grab it, he slipped his arms around my waist and held me tightly against his body.

confused and shocked, I use my hands to try and push him away from me but it was no good. he's way too strong.

"jeongguk seriously! get off me you don't know what your doing." I whisper yelled at him.

"tae. has anyone ever told you that you smell really sweet." he whispered into my ear which made me gasp.

"n-no that's weird. jeongguk you're drunk. stop planning on eating me you wolf boy!" I said and he moved his head so that our faces were facing each other.

"I can't help it. looking at you makes me........

.....makes me want to devour you."

he stared into my eyes and as did I. but I feel like his version of devour isn't like what I think.

"jeongguk! please pull yourself together. I want you to stop." i demanded but he rested his forehead against mine and laughed.

"you're lying.." he said with a smile.

I furrowed my brows.
"w-what?"

"taetae, you aren't slick. you're lying. I can hear it." He whispered and snaked his right hand against my chest. "I can hear you lie. right, here." He tapped where my heart is.

I finally pushed him away from me and he collapsed on the floor.

"are you kidding me?!" I exclaimed to myself.

is scoffed and took hold of his legs, dragging him back into the room.

"why do you literally weigh a ton?" I complained.

when I finally dragged him into the bedroom, I dropped his heavy ass legs and took a minute to breathe.

after catching my breath, I went back to the closet as grabbed two blankets and pillows. I just shoved the comforter back into the closet cause honestly, it'll just remind me of what happened and I'd rather not.

I covered jeongguk with a blanket and carefully moved his head onto the pillow.

I then moved away from him, about like, five feet, and made myself comfortable with my blanket and pillow.

I tried to close my eyes but every time I did, my mind would just flashback to jeongguk saying I was a liar and that he wanted to devour me.
