chapter 11

kth POV

it's the next morning and i wake jeongguk up to get ready for school.

we both showered at night so we got ready quickly.

"do you want anything to eat before we head out?" I asked as I walked into the  bathroom while he was brushing his teeth.

"juth thumthing thmall." he said and I nodded knowing that he meant 'just something small'.

I went downstairs and grabbed two big chocolate cookies my mom bought from the store recently specifically so I could just grab it and go.

jeongguk also made his way downstairs with his back pack on and I handed him his cookie and he smiled saying a quick thanks.

I nodded and grabbed my bag and slipped my shoes on, or at least I tried because I struggled a bit.

we were running a bit late so we were in a hurry to get of the house quick.

we eventually did make it to school in time and currently, break just started.

I wonder if jeongguk will remember his promise..

whatever, it's fine if he doesn't I guess.

I pouted to myself.

as I was about to walk towards the same window I stood by yesterday, but I was stopped in my tracks by gina.

"good morning!" She said and I smiled

"morning! you seem in a good mood?" I raised a brow with a smirk.

"well of course! just the thought of getting close to-"

she was quickly interrupted by jeongguk's sudden presence as he stood right next to us with a smile on his face.

I looked back at gina and her face was bright red and I couldn't help but chuckle to myself a bit. I changed our positions and made it so I was facing jeongguk and gina followed shyly.

"jeongguk, this is gina. gina, this is jeongguk." I introduced them to each other

"hey, I've already heard quite a bit about you." jeongguk said politely which almost caught me off guard since I haven't witnessed him being warm towards any girls yet.

gina's eyes widened and she moved a bit closer to me, one of her hands lightly clenching onto my sleeve. she couldn't help but look down.

"o-oh really? I h-hope they were good things!" she said trying her best to not sound timid but completely failing. damn, she wasn't lying when she said she was really shy around him. I couldn't help but pat her head and chuckle.

"sorry jeongguk, she's just a little shy. but don't worry, the more you get to know her, the more fun she actually is to be around." I smiled at him and he nodded.

"hey, gina is it? it's ok to look at me. I don't bite." jeongguk joked and kneeled down a bit to get gina to look at him and she blushed as their eyes finally met.

"y-yeah sorry! I'm not used to talking to new people." she started to feel more comfortable and smiled at him.

"is that so? well I won't be so new to you soon because I made a promise to taehyung that I'd hang around with him at school everyday." jeongguk replied while pushing his hair back with his palms.

"oh really! that's great I can't wait to get to know you better!" she said ecstatically and he chuckled and I rolled my eyes with a smiled on my face.
