Lost Generation

You say we're weak
We're the 'lost generation'
Well let me ask you something
How old were you
When  you lost your first friend to suicide?
We're starting to drop like flies
And we're only nine
Wishing for a time
When they were alive.
When you encounter death
There's no hope for going back
You can't back track
But you have a body to attack
So you cut deep
Your mind too unstable to keep.
All around you is self-love
With a society where we're still learning
That every human being deserves
Something to preserve
And that's love.
Now we're fourteen.
If your a girl, lose some weight
If your a boy, put on some muscle
Your no longer kids
So you have to look 18
And be movie teens
If your a white male
Your privlaged
So don't you dare cry
And if you die
All we can ask is why.
If your a white girl
Stop fixing your curls
You can't eat
And if you don't have a guy?
Your ugly
If you have one?
Your a hoe
If your thick
Hey fatty, why don't you run?
When all you'll ever want to do
Is run
From them and there name calling.
If your not white
Your categorized as a sterotype
With no wiggle room
Because everyone sees your skin
And not what's within
So tell me how lost our generation is
Because all I see is the generation before us
Forming us
Creating a society filled with lust
And no trust
Be who you wanna be
As long as it isn't A, B, or C
So yeah, we're the lost generation
And we're ready to take over this nation.
