At Riverdale High,

     Trio sat in their class while Veronica explained, after a lot of insistence from Betty about her meeting and its result yesterday. Archie even though angry at Veronica couldn't help feel sorry for her; he had first-hand experience of going against Hiram. Betty felt upset for her friend and even more upset knowing she couldn't and can't do anything to help her in this situation. Betty held Veronica's hand in support, and feeling her friends getting upset for her Veronica decided to change the topic.

"Okay, that's enough of me...what's been happening to you guys?? Any word from the guy from the trip, B?" Archie and Betty both looked at Veronica; Betty was more confused while Archie was surprised. Archie looked at Betty who was still staring at Veronica. Veronica slowly started to smile while Betty rolled her eyes. Archie was still looking at Betty; he couldn't stop looking at her while she laughed with Veronica; that unsettling feeling he had when he left Betty and Jughead at pop's came back and it felt stronger than ever.

         As soon as Archie sensed Betty was about to turn towards him, he lowered his eyes and managed to put a smile on his face. Betty gave a look of 'control her' at Archie, Veronica continued "But seriously Betty...now that you're single again I think you should see..." she was cut short by Archie "C'mon Ronnie! She can't date someone she barely knows!!" he reasoned with her and himself. It was now Veronica's turn to roll her eyes "Why not?" she looked at Betty "From what you said he sounds like a great guy!" Veronica said, "He is!!" Betty instantly replied. Archie looked at Betty offended, Betty almost panicking replied "Doesn't mean I'm gonna date him though! I'm just saying..." she finished looking at Veronica. Veronica leaned back on her seat, "you might not know Betty? He might be exactly what you need right now in your life!!" she stated the fact.

         The class quickly started to fill with other kids, just as Betty and Veronica got up to take their seats, Archie noticed Reggie entering the class with few other boys. Archie watched as Reggie and Veronica looked at each other with a smile on their face. Archie closed his eyes to keep his emotions in check and kept silent with his head down; no one except for Betty noticed the change in his demeanor but before she could check on him the teacher entered as the bell for the first class rang.

Archie having barely slept at the thoughts of Reggie and Veronica hugging started to feel drowsy soon after the classes started and totally dozed off sooner. The final bell rang indicating the end of their classes. Betty and Veronica both turned towards Archie at the same time to see him sleeping peacefully on his desk. Betty smiled at the sleeping and slightly drooling Archie and got up from her seat and went near him as did Veronica. Betty was about to wake him up but Veronica stopped her, "Don't B! Let him sleep...look how peaceful he looks!!" Veronica said admiring Archie.

Betty replied smiling "Won't be much peaceful when he finds he missed his practise because of it" she bent a little and took a closer look at the drooling Archie. Veronica quickly took her phone and photographed it, the girls chuckled and Betty shook him slightly. His eyes fluttered but didn't open, she shook him again with some force and he slowly opened his eyes. His eyes barely open, he smiled at the blurred view "Hey Betty!!" he muttered, Betty smiled "Hey Archie! Did you have a good sleep?" she asked and Archie nodded smiling and closed his eyes again.

Betty and Veronica shared a look and deduced that he must be thinking that he's dreaming all of this. This time veronica moved closer to Archie's view "Archikins...it's time to wake up!" Archie looked a little confused and opened his eyes completely realising the surrounding. The girls stood there laughing at their friend and his reactions waking up. "Oh! How long have I been asleep?" Archie asked stretching while Betty took his bag and handed it to him. "Pretty much since the class started!" Veronica said crossing her arms, sighing Archie got up and the trio exited from the classroom.
