Short Biography: Cassius Griffin was born in an aristocratic, nevertheless, stringent Protestant English family in the small English city, Manchester. Under the care of his parents Margaret and Jonathan, he and his siblings regularly attended the local English church every weekend during his early childhood. Due to the regular local chapel visits, his initial divinely golden goal was to become one of the most powerful clergymen in the world, even though his parents and siblings didn't second his childish dream at all.
His school years were efficiently successful and having straight As on subjects like History and Literature except Math, Chemistry and Physics, due to his lacking interest. Notwithstanding his early adolescence, Cassius loses his father during the World War 2 in 1942 and subsequently delegating Margaret Quinn to take care of her children as a desperate widow.
In order to dodge the severe pain shortly after the fresh demise of his father, Cassius commences to work as a volunteer in the local English church which through the inexorably advancing time, the authentically extraordinary enthusiasm in the religion petered out and arouses his humongous interest in solving crimes, per se becoming a detective.
As soon as he graduates from high school and commences his ominously persistent studies in criminology and blending it with English and Classic Literature which was his sole hobby, consequently, his unremitting enthusiasm to flee in much different country chimed his perspective and emigrating in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania after finishing his university education and eventually meeting Delaine Kelley whom he dated her for a couple of years and having only one child named Ariadne Emma Vertner.
In spite of Ariadne and Cassius's relationship doesn't last more than a half a decade, nevertheless, their only daughter is obligated to behold her biological father once a week even when he had the toughest and longest days in his career as a detective and partnering with Keith.
Last but not least, he's meagerly heard of his siblings and biological mother even though he swapped a couple of phone conversations monthly and expressing his nostalgia over his home land and their very absences escorting his unholy loneliness. On his 40th birthday, the detective acknowledges his ex-girlfriend's death, due to the fact, Delaine faked her own death shortly before being committed to the nefarious old mental hospital Pennhurst Asylum, in order to not upset Cassius, in case if he wants to form a reunion with her, especially platonic one.
