It was not unusual to hear music coming from Harry's flat at any time of the day.

It was usually loud and shook our whole building with the strong bass, some sort of rock music. Heavy metal, maybe.

But one Thursday, when I got home at 3:30 from work, it was something else. A smooth, relaxing sound. It sounded mostly like guitars, but the songs switched from acoustic to jazz to a reggae sound.

I liked it more then the usual rock he played, connecting with the acoustic music a bit easier considering I play the guitar and it's always come more naturally to me. Whenever Harry had tried to get me to listen to his loud, crazy music before I usually ended up dropping out after a couple songs. Though, they're good and I like them, my eardrums can only take so much.

With me only a couple months in to my new job, it was hard to find time to talk to anyone, let alone Harry. And although we shared a couple kisses and our confessions of really fancying each other not that long ago, it's been nearly impossible to work up the courage to see him again after this long hiatus.

But sometimes I think about him and his stupid fucking curly hair and long legs and it physically hurts because I just miss being around him and hearing his theories and seeing his new artwork.

So, at 7:24, the music still ringing out loudly from his flat, I decide that I'm going to stop feeling sorry for myself and stop being an insecure, shy piece of shit. And at 8 o'clock I walk across the short hallway, hair done and a tray of cupcakes in hand, and knock on his door.

What I get when the door is opened is not what is expected.

Firstly, there's a Louis opening the door, not a Hazza.

Secondly, the Hazza is splayed across the floor with a pretty blonde-haired boy lying next to him, laughing.

Thirdly, I realize I look stupid standing at the door with a tray of cupcakes in hand when i'm clearly interrupting something.

"Oh, Lauren! Hello, hi, are these for me? Oh, you're so sweet." He exclaims, talking a million miles an hour as he takes the tray from my hands.

"Come in, come in. We're just chilling. Harry got a record player, we're trying to seduce the baby out of Eleanor with this sexy music. She's three days overdue."

He pulls me by the hand inside, shutting the door behind us.

"HARRY!" Louis screams, making me jump, as Harry is no more than 20 feet away from us.

"WHAT?" He yells back.

Louis, with half a cupcake jammed in his mouth replies, "You' got a visi'er!"

Harry looks up then, his hair in scrambles as he glances at me and a smile comes over his face. "Lauren!"

I smile then, too, feeling a bit better about the whole situation.

"Hi. I just heard the music and wanted to say hi. Hi."

"Hi." He smiles.

I glance over his face, the messy hair, the jumper sitting crooked on his torso, the huge smile adorning his face.

"Hi."

"Ugh, I could vomit. Jesus H. Christ, you guys." Louis groans.

"Come here, gorgeous, don't be annoying." A half asleep Eleanor groans from the couch.

He prances over to her, smoothing down her hair and rubbing her belly.

I pair of strong arms wrap around me suddenly, making me jump.
