Long ago, there was a common race of magical beings known as genies, who served as guardians of the world, protecting it from evil. And no, these genies don't grant wishes. Anyways, these genies did their jobs perfectly and lived peacefully until a great evil known simply as the Pirate Master showed up and killed them all. Except for one, who had a kid, and the kid's name was Shantae!
Shantae is a half-genie, since her mom was genie and her dad was human. That should be fairly obvious by this point, but I digress. Er-hem, anyway, let's talk about Shantae's abilities and arsenal, and it's...unique, to say the least. It's nothing bad, it's just...weird.
