Spiral Mountain, a wonderful, mostly peaceful place. I say "mostly", considering the fact that a witch tried to steal some girl's beauty and failed and keeps trying to get revenge. It's also the home of the dynamic duo, Banjo & Kazooie.
These two are the most unlikely of friends, especially since Banjo is chilled out and typically not one for adventure, while Kazooie is extremely, well, not chill and always looking for something to do besides sit in a backpack all day.
Let's talk abilities and arsenal! Banjo's first with the...Claw Swipe. Yeah, Banjo just does the movement, not much of the attacking. Still, he does carry a backpack that he can hide himself in and heal over time. Plus, he can use it to hurl around at enemies like a potato sack! That's gonna leave a bruise!

Kazooie carries around 90% of the arsenal with a variety of eggs and abilities. She can peck with multiple flurry attacks, she can fly while holding Banjo for long periods of time, run quickly over vast distances while carrying Banjo. Judging by Banjo's species being a brown bear, Kazooie should be running over 30 miles per hour! She can lay different types of eggs! Blue eggs have no effect, but do some pretty heavy damage! Fire eggs burn, Ice Eggs freeze, Grenade eggs explod- Wait, what?! Grenade Eggs?! Is Kazooie even a bird?! Clockwork Eggs act as REMOTE EXPLOSIVES! Okay, what in the name of Arceus is this logic?!
