(*Cue "Wiz and Boomstick" - Brandon Yates*)
While most prefer to work as a team, there is quite the handful of people who prefer solitude. And these two solitary beasts are about to throw down!
Zeraora, the thundering roar of the Alola region!
And Renamon, the moody rookie-level Digimon!
I am Bandana Dee, and it's my job to analyze the abilities, strengths, and weaknesses to determine the fate of two fighters in a Supremacy Showdown!
A/N: No Trainers or Tamers, purely wild Pokemon/Digimon
The Alola region is a wondrous place in the Pokemon universe. It's no Unova, but it's still a nice place all the same, with multiple islands to visit, new Pokemon and even some old Pokemon with a different appearance and typing. But one was the fastest of them all, the most electrifying, one whose name struck name into the hearts of many, and that name was Zeraora.
*Thunder strikes as it's cry is heard from the mountains*
Zeraora is as terrifying an opponent to face as it is to hear it's name, and for good reason. The Pokedex entry for it in Ultra Moon states that "It approaches it's enemies at lightning speed, then tears them limb from limb." Whoa, didn't think a Pokemon would get so...brutal. I mean sure, there are Pokemon like Mimikyu who made a trainer die a painful death, but that's more of a curse, while this is just pure brutality.
Let's get into the abilities! I went through and chose the moveset that would best suit Zeraora for this fight! For the first attack, he uses the powerful Thunder Punch, which electrifies his fist and goes for a powerful blow!
His second one is Electro Ball, where he generates an orb of electricity and fires it at a foe, exploding on contact! Judging by it's behavior in some episodes of the anime, it likely can lock in on opponents with their energy output. That may explain why electric-type moves have stupidly high accuracy!
He also knows the move Close Combat, an attack that seems like a JoJo reference because of how fast the flurry of attacks are. The flurry of punches is around 10-15 in two seconds, a feat that makes it seem like more of a JoJo reference. Look, can we just get a Star Platinum Pokemon already? The attack is Super Effective against Tyranitar, who is powerful enough to bring down entire MOUNTAINS! The amount of TNT to do this would have to be over 5 GIGATONS of TNT, OVER 5,000 MEGATONS!
