*Cue Wiz and Boomstick - Brandon Yates*
Going fast is always fun. A little nauseating sometimes, but mostly fun! It even helps you keep ahead of your opponents, and these two fighters are prime examples of this!
Quicksilver, the slick speedster of the X-Men!
And Sonic the Hedgehog, the Blue Blur and hero of Mobius!
I am Bandana Waddle Dee and it's my job to analyze the abilites, strengths, and weaknesses to determine the fate of two fighters in a Supremacy Showdown!
2 twins from Serbia were taken to Wungadore Mountain to be experimented on. After the scientists were disgusted with the results, they returned them. During their adolescents, they discovered they had unnatural superhuman abilities. The sister, Wanda Maximoff, found out she had psychic manipulation while her brother discovered he had super speed. His name was Pietro Maximoff, or better known as Quicksilver.
You did not see that coming?
After a partnership with the villain Magneto, he donned the name. Unfortunately, they discoverd him for who he truly is and left. But anyways, let's talk about Pietro's speed and feats, since he doesn't really have an arsenal.
He can run around in circles so fast he can cause tornadoes that suck the oxygen out of opponents! He can outrun a radio wave, which moves at light speed! This means that Quicksilver would have to be moving at least 670 million miles per hour! He's been able to take down Captain America with no problem, and he's basically the leader of the Avengers! He can redirect a bullet with ease! He's even taken a blow from Hercules, the literal god of strength and just kept on fighting! How the actual heck did he just do that?!
One time, he accidentally ran so fast up a mountain that he launched himself at an airborne airplane, fell 39,000 feet into the ocean and lived! What the heck?! Then again, it's a Marvel character, so it makes sense...somewhat.
He is, however, not without his flaws. He often runs in guns-blazing without any plan of attack at all. He's incredibly impatient and easily gets annoyed when being cooped up for too long.
