"Stay Gold Ponyboy, Stay Gold." Johnny said with his final breath.
" Johnny c'mon...please don't leave me! " I cried.
"C'mon Baby...we gotta tell the others-"Dallas, my boyfriend started.
" NO! " I screamed.
Before I knew it I was running down the street with Dals switchblade and Dal running behind me.
"You better not Ponyboy!" he screamed and tackled me.
"LET ME DIE I WANT TO BE WITH JOHNNY!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
"NO! No! No!" Dally cried.
"Why not..." I merely whispered.
"Because I can't lose you...and neither can your brothers. They've already lost there parents...they can't lose you to..." Dally said quietly.
"And you...?" I asked.
" I've already lost enough....I can't lose you baby....I just can't... " he said.
"Please don't ever leave me" I said.
"Never in a million years." Dally replied.
He then kissed me.
I kissed back.
"I love you Ponyboy...I love you so freaking much...now let's go home..." he said.
" Ok"
