The voice Remus awoke to was angelic, a soft singing, he didn't open his eyes yet, listenig to the voice.
"And you're ask me how my day was, I'll tell you all about it,"
He opened one eye, seeing Virgil besides him, the small boys legs were swinging softly, one of his hands gently playing with Remus' hair. He was singing...quite beautifully.
"You'll smile and my whole life will...light up with joy, cuz baby you...you are all I need,"
"Damn, emo," Remus sat up, hissing slightly, before wrapping his arm around Virgils waist. "Didn't know you could sing like that,"
"Don't touch me," Virgil pulled away with a hiss, "I mean- thank you..." Remus smiled, watchig Virgil contently, he felt a strange protectiviness over him.
They had a while before the nurse returned, so, Virgil talked. Telling him about how Patton cut off all his hair when he got the gum in it. He's kept it short ever since. Remus listened, slowly nodding his head.
"Your dad sounds like a dick," A soft burst of light blue, the color of the walls, appeared in Remus' vision, accompaning Virgils laughter.
"Yeah..."
A few more moments of silence.
"Can I kiss you, Ve?"
