Virgil went home, the color red still showing up every now and then. He paused in his driveway.

He went inside, empting the folders and notebooks from his backpack, putting clean jeans, boxers, and tshirts in. Going to the bathroom he grabbed his toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as his hidden stash of cash, accounting to just over a hundred dollars. He grabbed his phone charger and earbuds before going downstairs. Grabbing a pack of crackers, peanut butter and several bottles of water.
"Dad! I'm going to Remys!" Virgil called, hearing his dad yell, 'bye Isabell' from the living room. Virgil was about to go, before he saw Pattons wallet. He opened the wallet and grabbed the cash.
2000 dollars. He must've been on his way to pay rent.
He shoved the cash in his pocket before walking out, fully intending on never seeing him again.
