I sat up and looked around. Where am I? Did I survive? Am I dead? "Karsyn," a familiar voice said. "Felicity," I asked, "you're dead." "So are you," she said quietly, "but we can't talk about that now c'mon we have to get you back." She said. "Why don't I die here," I asked. "Not that simple," she said, "I'll explain in a minute," she said. "Where are we going," I asked. "For a mute you sure ask alot of questions," she said. "I'm trying not to be mute," I replied and walked with her to a room.

It said S.H.E.I.L.D. in large letters. "We're not supposed to be in this universe not as ourselves," Felicity said. "The way it works as we found. When you die your physical body stays in the universe it died but your subconscious mind travels through a doorway, if you'd like and is reborn into a new physical body with no recollection of your past life," said a man in his late forties maybe black hair a scraggly beard and an arrogant manner to himself.

"You shouldn't have had your physical body and mind travel intact to our universe," said another man. He was tall built and had blonde hair and light eyes. He looked twenty but his mannerisms and the way his eyes seemed dim almost he must be several decades old.

"It's almost as if you were never supposed to exist in the other universe," a woman with wine red hair that went to her shoulder's said. Black Widow. I'm in Marvel? "By the way awesome suit," She said. "Thanks you too," I said. I realized now in the room was Tony Stark, Steve Rogers and obviously Natasha Romanof. "She's not," Bruce said walking in. I raised an eyebrow.

"Your parents are from this universe and managed to change their time stream and get stuck in DC you and your sister were supposed to be born here and then you were supposed to be reborn in DC today. "So what if I die now," I asked. "You could tear apart the fabric of reality," Natasha said. "How," I asked. They gave me look that explained it all. So I'm stuck here til further notice.

I stopped hearing an explosion and my heart stopped. I looked back and a mushroom like cloud was barely visible in the distance. Iris was fine. Karsyn lied. I couldn't breathe and I felt sick. I didn't know why but I started to run back. "Flash," I voice called. I tripped and fell. I looked up and the explosion ended. No. Maybe she survived. I have to go see. I started running again and I kept running. There was bothing left but ash. I ran back and collapsed on the street from using too much energy with put keeping up with my metabolism.

I woke up in my room back in Central city. I walked downstairs feeling like I was missing something. I wonder if Karsyn ever wakes up like this. That's when it hit me. I stopped in my tracks on the steps. No. I-It had to have been a bad dream. I couldn't have lost her too. "Barry," Iris said cautiously. I held back tears and looked at her searching for an answer hoping it was just a dream. A really shitty bad dream. "Is she really gone," I asked my voice cracking. Iris nodded.

They had to have hid her death as a coverup. No one will now that she had to die alone, in the cold. I let out a quick breath that sounded more like a cough and I couldn't see with the wall of tears blocking my vision. I felt Iris hug me and I burried my head in her shoulder sobbing. It's not fair. I shouldn't have left her. I wasn't fast enough to push her out of the way of the lightning.

"I'm so sorry Barry," Iris said. I should have been faster I could have saved her. I stopped crying. I need to make sure this never happens again. I took a deep breath wiping my eyes. "I have to go do sonething," I said. Iris nodded and I walked outside. After I was outside I ran to STAR labs. I got on the treadmill and started running pushing myself until It hurt and pushing myself more. The machine turned off and I fell forward.

"Barry what the hell are you doing," Kaitlynn asked. "I'm..... trainning..... to be ........ faster," I said between wheezing gasps for air. "It's not," Kaitlynn started and sat next to me. I was catching breath but still breathing a bit heavily. "It's not what? My fault? It's not worth pushing myself," I asked. "Yeah," she said. "You're wrong Kaitlynn," I said. "It's my fault because I wasn't fast enough to get her out of the way. I'm not letting something like that happen again," I said stubbornly and finally was breathing regularly.
