Chapter 1: A New beginning

???: Mom! Stop it!

A glaceon was fixing a younger jolteons hair.

Glaceon: Today is your first day living in a new place. You at least need to look nice.

???: Yeah Storm, stop being a baby.

Another glaceon walked by with a bag.

Storm: Shut up Sapphire. No one asked you.

His mom finally finished and looked at him.

Glaceon: Are you two sure you're ready?

Sapphire: Don't worry, we'll be fine.

Glaceon: I know, it just... I'm a bit worried for you. Moving in with other pokemon can be a bit tough. My first day wasn't that great...

???: Oh, come on Lazuli,

A jolteon walked in. A small eevee was on his back.

Jolteon: Our first day wasn't that bad.

Lazuli: Really Speed?

Speed: Okay, well it was kinda hard. I mean, you did run over me, punch me multiple times, I got crushed by a door, and got some broken bones, maybe a bit of brain damage as well...

Lazuli: Your point?

Speed walked over to her and hugged her.

Speed: Even with all those, I managed to meet you for the first time. That's the best thing that happened.

Lazuli was silent. She sighed and smiled.

Lazuli: I guess you're right.

Speed: Anyways, your mom has a point. Anything could happen. Just be careful, okay?

Storm: Okay Dad.

The eevee jumped off of Speed and walked towards Sapphire and Storm.

Eevee: Why can't I go?

Sapphire: Sorry Snowflake. You're still too young.

Storm: Besides, we already got an eevee.

Sapphire patted Snowflakes head.

Sapphire: But I promise, we'll come visit!

Snowflakes: Okay.

They all did a real quick last hug and the two siblings were on their way.

A couple minutes later...

They were getting closer to the house.

Sapphire: How much longer?

Storm: A couple of minutes.

Sapphire: About time.

Storm: Well, I'm going ahead.

Sapphire: W-wait, what!?

Storm: I'm tired. There's a bed at the house already. I'm going ahead to take a nap.

Sapphire: Mom said we have to stay-

He then bolted off and was already gone.

Sapphire: Together... (Sigh) Lazy Idiot...

She then ran after him.

Sapphire: (Thinking: I swear he is such a jerk sometimes. He knows that we needed to stay together, but did he listen? I swear, I'm going to pound him to next week next time I-)

She then looked ahead of her and gasped. She was so lost in thought that she didn't notice a pokemon ahead of her. She realized she was going to run into them.
