Chapter 3: Mistakes

A couple of days later...

Blossom was in the kitchen cooking while Asher was cleaning the living room.

Blossom: Hey Asher, breakfast is almost ready. Do you know who is up?

Asher: Emma is playing with Sky and the robot, I think Shade is training, and Your sister is probably playing with Luna.

Blossom: What about Storm and Sapphire?

Asher: I didn't see them get up this morning.

Blossom: Okay. I'll try to wake up Storm. You wake up Sapphire.

Asher: M-me!?

Blossom: I assumed you hated Storm, so I thought it would be better if you woke up Sapphire. If that's a problem, then I can wake her-

Asher: N-no! Th-that's fine. I'll wake her up.

He went upstairs and went to her room. He knocked on the door.

Asher: Sapphire? Are you up? Breakfast is almost ready.

No response. He opened the door a bit.

Asher: I'm coming in.

He entered and saw her in her bed. He then noticed that she left her lamp light on and saw an opened book.

Asher: I guess she was reading all night.

He walked over to her. He looked at her laying in her bed sleeping. He couldn't help but blush.

Asher: Even when she's asleep, she's pretty. She's like a princess.

He then remembered something. Whenever a princess was in a deep slumber, she would be awakened by true love's kiss from her prince charming. The thought of this made him red.

Asher: N-no. I can't.

She then suddenly yawned and turned around, facing him. She was still asleep. He looked at her. She seemed so... peaceful. He then looked at her lips. Her beautiful lips. They were so kissable. He couldn't stop blushing. He then got a bit closer to her. He moved his head towards hers. He inched closer and closer to her lips. He was about to kiss her. He stopped. Their lips were almost 1 inch apart from each other. He sighed.

Asher: That was close...

Sapphire: Mmm...

Asher was suddenly frozen with fear. Sapphire slowly opened her eyes. She then saw how close he was to her.

Sapphire: Gahh!

She then punched him, sending him flying into the wall. Blossom then ran into the room.

Blossom: Sapphire!? What's Wrong!?

Sapphire got up and walked out of her room. Her face was fully red.

Sapphire: Stupid pervert...

Asher: Oww... (Thinking: I deserved that...)

Later...

Asher was in the shed with Emma and Storm. They were cleaning it up as Asher moved boxes, Storm was sweeping, and Emma was dusting. She used a ladder to clean the top shelf. Suddenly, her nose started to twitch.

Emma: Ah... Ah...

Asher: Sis? Are you okay?

Emma moved her paw to her nose.

Emma: Ah... Ah...! Achoo!

The ladder was suddenly pushed back causing her to fall.

Emma: Kya!
