A few weeks later…

Sapphire was looking through Lazuli’s book on her days in the Eeveelution Squad

“Today was the most embarrassing day… For some reason, Sylveon and Vaporeon pushed me and Jolteon in a shed and locked us in. We couldn’t get out and had to climb out a window just to leave. Unfortunately, I lost my step while climbing and fell on Jolteon, putting us WAY too close then I would have wanted. To make matters worse, Leaf walked in on us and got the wrong idea. Ugh! I am gonna kill those two for making me go through that! If one good thing came out of it however, it was I got to apologize to Jolteon. I hope things get better between us. He even promised to take me to town in a few weeks. Maybe I can get closer to him like that.”

Sapphire: Now that me and Shade went through that, I feel bad for laughing at mom when she told me this story when I was younger. It was pretty embarrassing.

Suddenly, she heard something hit her window. She turned and saw another pebble bounce on her window. She goes over and opened the window, only to get hit with a small rock

Sapphire: Ow!

???: Sorry!

She looked down and saw a familiar face.

Sapphire: Please tell me no one saw you. It is the middle of the day.

???: Relax. I wouldn’t make a dumb mistake like screaming my name in public.

She gave the figure a disapproving look

???: … Alright, I wouldn’t do it a 2nd time.

She went and grabbed a rope as she threw one end out the window as he climbed up it and steps in the room, as they were a Glaceon wearing a white scarf with the number 5 on it and goggles

Sapphire: If you say so, “Zero.”

Zero: You really won’t let me live that down, will you?

Sapphire: We almost got caught and got in trouble.

Zero: I was still new to being you.

Suddenly, Zero’s body started to turn purple and was turning into a liquid, eventually turning into a pile of goo with black eyes and a big smile. Sapphire sighed

Sapphire: So, what brings you here?

Zero?: You're dad wants you.

Sapphire: Training day?

Zero?: Yup.

She sighed as she went back to her bed and reached under it, eventually pulling out a box with a lock on it. She put in the code and opened it, showing a pair of goggles, a white scarf, and rescuer badge. She puts on her gear and walks to the window as she moves the goggles over her eyes.

Zero?: Want me to cover for you?

Sapphire: That’s not necessary D. I’m sure Dad won’t be long.

D: Okay. Good luck, “Zero.”

She gave him a thumbs up, before jumping out the window and landing in some bushes. She pokes her head out to make sure no one was around, before running straight to town

Many Years ago…

It was the middle of the day as in a tree house close to Sunny town, a small eevee who was sleeping in her bed woke up as the sun beams down on her face. She sat up and yawned as she stepped off the bed and walked over to a mirror, as she grabbed a brush and used it to straighten out her hair, as she grabbed a blue bow and tied it on her tail. She looked at the mirror giving a smile, before grabbing a comic book on the desk and leaving the room. She walked to the dinner table and sat on it, opening it up to read. Unaware to her, someone else was awake, as they were creeping up to her. She then heard a nose behind her, making her turn, only to see nothing.
