Naira's POV
I sat at one of the couch , thinking about how to gather information about him , it was very difficult , suddenly William came and shook me
" What?" I snapped
His face was a little surprised but then again he maintained his serious face
" Kartik wants you in the office" he said and walked away
I stood and went to Kartik's office , on my way I saw an angry James , I was about to speak but Issac was behind him and signalled 'not right now'.
I nodded and went to his office. He was sitting on his chair and reading a file , how can a person look hot while just doing a simple task
" Aisha? Sit" he said
I went and sat on one of the chairs infront of him , I looked around and took notice of everything , anything that adds to my suspicion list.
" How are you feeling?" He asked
" I'm well , I was afraid why did you call me here , you never let anyone here except your three bff's" I said
He just looked at me
" You know why I bought you in? Not only to protect you but to also use you" he said in an authorative voice
What does he meant by ' use me' , he stood up from his seat and sat infront of me on the desk and leaned closer towards me , chills ran through my body when he touched my chin to raise my head to look directly into his eyes.
" Use me? I don't get it" I said in a very low voice
" When you shot that guy , I know that there is something about you" he looked again directly into my eyes.
Can he just stop doing that
" That's why , I'll train you , you will work with me " he finally said
" No , why shall I work with you , I'm not interested in your mafia world , I have a life" I snapped , who the hell he thinks he is , he can't just force anyone
" You're not thinking rationally , go and rest and tell me in two days" he said
" Why , why shall I join your gang" I tried sounding a little funny , because if I use some mafia terms , he might get suspicious
" Go Aisha , rest" he said and walked towards the window. I too got up and went to my room. I was going to call dad but then I heard a soft knock and hid my secret phone away , Issac came in and sat beside me
" What happened to James?" I asked worried about him
" Umm... nothing much" he said
" He was angry , which I rarely see"I stated
" See Aisha , I know you're worried but just understand he will never be angry at you and ya after all we are like brother sisters" he said
I was trying hard not to cry
" Ya , except William" I said
Issac laughed and then left me , I immediately locked the door and called Dad with the hidden phone
" Yes Naira?" Dad said
" Dad , I can't do this anymore , it's very difficult , I don't think he's building or planning anything against you" I said
" How are you so sure?" Dad asked
" I just know dad , he won't harm us , please just let me come" I said while tears start making their way out
" Did he ask you something" he said
" No , he just offered me to join his mafia" I said
" That's great!! Then accept it" dad said
" What are you talking about , it's risking my life that too for the enemy" I said with anger in my voice this time
Suddenly I heard voices of my brothers
" Bye Naira , do as you are told" he said
He didn't even let me talk to my brothers , what the hell , he's not the father , I left behind , I cuddled up in a corner and cursed my fate , I threw the secret phone , it banged on the wall and broke to pieces ,And I lost my last connection with my family.
While in Jones Mansion
" Dad these are the files you wanted" Rohan gave him a folder
" Who were you talking to??" Rishi questioned
" No one , just some client" he said sternly
Rishi's dad was just going to open the folder when Rishi snatched them
" What the hell!! Give them back you son of a bitch" Rishi's dad shouted
" You never curse , especially not a family" Rohan said while taking his gun out
Rishi then grabbed his dad's hand and removed the gun from his pocket and held him back
" Because he ain't our dad" Rishi said with a cold voice
Rohan punched him several times
" Where is dad?" Rishi demanded while choking him
The imposter gave him an address and asked his men to check it
" Yes sir , boss is here tied , we are bringing him" one of the man said on the phone
" I knew you were always weak uncle" Rishi said
Then suddenly the electricity went off and a gun shot was heard , after a few minutes when the electricity was back , they saw that the imposter had shot himself
" I don't think , dad would weep on his twin brother's death" Rohan said while examining the body
" Never" Rishi chuckled
" I wonder when Naira will come home?" Rohan said , sadness visible in his eyes
" She will soon , dad had already said that he would call her back early , he's not gonna leave her there for a long time" Rishi explained
" Let's call her" Rohan said
" It's dangerous" Rishi said
" C'mon , the secret phone is on silent , always , a message will pop on her actual phone only and then she will call us" Rohan said
Rishi nodded and then they both called her on the secret phone , but there was no dial tone . They both looked shocked
" The phone is switched off" Rohan said trying to be positive
" Or they found her" Rishi said
" No no , never , it might be just switched off" Rohan said again
" You don't understand Rohan , that phone was our only connection , without it , if we'll contact her they'll know and that phone has a battery life of a year , it just don't switch off and it can't be switched off" Rishi yelled
Rohan sat on the sofa with a thump
" She's in danger or she is gonna be in danger" Rohan finally said
