Naira's POV
I was sleeping peacefully, until I heard shouting from outside, I peeked out from the little opening that Kartik might have left when going out.
"I'm trying to have a serious conversation with you!" William said
"And I'm trying to subtly avoid it!" James replied , then I noticed Kartik and Issac standing quietly
"You just set a camp on fire , it's serious, the people might have got injured" William said again
"But they didn't, so stop being unreasonable and harsh to me" James said
William took a deep breath and his features softened for a moment" Ya may, I was a little harsh" he said
"Did you just...agree with me?" James asked surprised
"Oh I wish I could take_" William was cut off by James
"Nope! You said it! No take-backs!" James said while smirking and left a scowling William behind.

Right now we are all sitting near the lake enjoying the peace, suddenly some gunshots were fired, we all ducked down and went behind the trees to hide, I was terrified not for me, but for the safety of my friends.
"You stay here, I'll go and check, James and Issac will stay back" Kartik said while signalling the others, they all nodded.
Kartik and William went in the direction of gunshots with their guns aiming out, while we all stood behind a tree quietly, I saw Chloe, she was also terrified and then she pointed towards her throat , I can't make out what was she saying, so I ran in her direction, she was having breathing problem.
"Calm down Chloe, try to breathe" I said , while rubbing her back
There was a little distance between us and our camp, I took the chances and ran to the camp and as soon as I grabbed the water bottle, the gunshots were fired again , this time into the camp in which I was there, I ducked down again and somehow rolled out. James came in front
"You go , I got this covered" he said while shooting, I nodded and ran towards Chloe who was already in Issac's arms, I gave her water and she relaxed somehow.
"Guys we gotta go" Anna said
We nodded and ran behind Anna who was following James, we were going towards the parking area but then the shooting started again, I saw some men, I had no gun with me but then I remembered, I stored a pair of knives in my boots. So I took out one knife and threw it at the person, The knife hit him directly at his chest, James who was near me looked at me surprised
" Just my luck" I shouted and he nodded
Issac and James proceeded somehow with us following them behind, suddenly a person came out of nowhere and punched James, Issac was busy shooting on the other side, that person unarmed James, they both started fighting, but then two more men came, I took out my knife and stabbed one person while James dealt with the other one, but to our unluck his gun exhausted, so he was fighting unarmed now.
"Can you hit him with your knife" James said while fighting that man
"I believe the technical term is 'stab'" I said and then stabbed the man.
We were clear now and I saw Kartik and William approaching too, I went and hugged Kartik, he caressed my cheek and checked me for any injuries
"You alright?" Kartik asked, I nodded
"What do we do about these bodies" Issac asked
"I have a solution" James said
"Great your brain works, Thank goodness" Kartik said
"It involves fire" James said
"Absolutely not" We all said in unison
