But I want you to EXPLORE skin before you write your poem, here are some examples

Dry skin
Skin disease
Coloured skin
Smooth skin
Broken skin
Freckled skin

Write a poem about skin and describe it! How it feels, what you like/dislike, how you feel about it. Here is an example;

Title: Skin.
Course, unrefined and rough
Dry and bumpy like a crackled road,
In some spots it's smooth in others it's like a rock covered in spots.

I'm not ashamed to reveal my skin,
Unshaved arms and shaved legs
I'm not guilty of the stretch marks across my belly or down my thigh,
I'm a little chubby but so what? I'm happy just being me.

My skin may be dry and bumpy like I had goosebumps,
It may be dry and easily broken like paper tissue,
It may be scattered in freckles but it is still mine.

This skin is mine to wear,
I'm proud to.
How about you?

There is no word limit! Please enjoy your options and explore! Maybe do a little research on skin, it can be negative or positive! Maybe about skin cream or skin on skin contact! You have so many options!

And since this one will be an explorative poem I'm going to extend the deadline! That way you'll have plenty of time and so will newcomers :)

DEADLINE: 9th MARCH

Good luck!
