Rye carefully brushed her hair as her toes tingled with excitement. She placed a hand over her belly and smiled down.

"I'm getting married tomorrow," she said as she wiggled in her seat.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

"Rye?" Xavier's voice called to her.

Rye jumped to her feet and hurried to the door. Without opening the double doors she pressed her ears against the wood.

"What are you doing?" She hissed. "You can't see the bride before the wedding!"

"Don't worry," Xavier chuckled from the other side. "I won't look at you."

"I'm not opening the door....we have enough bad luck as is."

"You do know I can break down the doors, right honey?"

Rye laughed. "Promise you won't peek?"

"Cross my heart, baby."

Rye slowly opened the door and peered outside. She burst into laughter as she looked at Xavier standing outside of her door.

He held a white rose in his hand. He, himself, was blindfolded. The red cloth was tied tightly around his eyes, allowing no room for him to peek.

"Who did this to you?" Rye laughed.

"Basil," Xavier smirked. "It was his idea to get past the no seeing the bride rule."

"Come here," Rye tugged Xavier forward and into her room. She closed the door behind him and guided her mate to have a seat at the edge of her bed.

Xavier smiled. "I actually really like this."

"Is it turning you on?" Rye smirked.

Xavier reached out and smacked Rye's bottom.

"Hey!" Rye pretended to be offended. "Hands of the merchandise."

Xavier laughed.

Rye moved in between his legs and lowered her mouth to his. She kissed him tenderly.

Xavier sighed with happiness as he wrapped his arms around Rye's waist and buried his face in her chest.

"What were you doing?" Xavier asked as Rye played with his curls.

"I was wondering how long it would take me to run away from the altar," Rye teased. "The aisle is pretty long."

Xavier's head snapped up.

"No." He said sternly. "Rye, don't you dare."

"I'm still not convinced, King Dorin," Rye giggled. "It's been more then two weeks and I don't think you have made me fall in love with you yet."

Xavier groaned. "Rye, you're going to be the end of me."

Rye laughed as she placed a kiss on his lips. "I'm kidding! I won't run away from the altar."

"I'll have Exton guard the aisle," Xavier said. Rye was sure that if she could look at his eyes, he would have rolled them.

"Okay, now leave," Rye said stepping back. "I have a big day tomorrow, I need sleep."

"It's my big day too," Xavier pointed out as he got off the bed.

"Oh honey," Rye sighed. "No. it's my day. You just have to show up."

Xavier laughed as Rye pushed him out of her room.

"I'll see you tomorrow," He said as Rye pushed him out.
