Chapter 1: Sarah Lawiscky - Introduction

(The picture in the media is what Sarah looks like)

Eggs stink.

They are very foul smelling, but are very delicious. I don't know why, but every time before I eat them I smell them and wrinkle my nose. But, being the hungry savage person I am, I dig in. With a little salt and pepper it makes up for their smell.

I can't stop smiling, for today is the first day of school. I haven't seen Nate in forever since he went on a end of the year beach trip for two weeks. We texted of course but it isn't the same as talking with each other.

Of course I had my girlfriend, Natalie, is pretty awesome to hang out with. She has dirty blonde hair wonderful skin. She is an incredible nerd, like I am. I can answer any science, math, or social studies question on the spot like she can, and it takes us a few more seconds to answer ELA questions. Then there is Gabby...

Gabby is your average slut. She sleeps with as many guys as she can, just because she can. If someone is hot, she wants them and usually gets them. I would pitty her if she wasn't such a jerk to me. We hate each other because she likes Nate and I....well.... I do too.

Nate's my best friend, and regrettably....has always been my best friend. You see, when I was younger I always thought of the dashing, muscular, greenish-blue eyed boy to have cooties. But, at my tenth birthday party, I experienced a change of scenery.

I had just finished my food and looked around at all of the people- or lack of people. Nate, Gabby, and Natalie were the only ones there. Natalie was eating all of the food and Gabby and Nate were talking (more like debating) over which gender was better. I was just sitting all alone.

Out of no where Natalie jumped up and said "Mhmphmh!" I walked up to her and scolded her. "Don't talk with food in your mouth." She just glared at me, then swallowed.

"I said, lets play tag! We haven't played that game in, like, a week. Please!" We all grumbled agreements except Gabby.

"There is no where to hide for when slow people like Sarah need to breath!" She looked at me and smirked. I just rolled my eyes and looked back at Natalie.

"I think Gabby should be it since she is complaining so much." Nate laughed and got a glare from Gabby, which shut him up.

"All in favor of choosing Gabby, say popsicles." All three of us said popsicles and Gabby stomped her foot.

"Fine, but I will only count to 10...unless, Sarah, that is too many digits for you?" I just ignored her and looked around for a hiding spot. Gabby is right about one thing, cause I can not run for long. I saw a huge tree and then realized she had finished counting at the moment I found the tree. I was left standing right in front of her. She ran after me.

I tried as hard as I could and ran to the tree. I climbed it easily, to my surprise. She just ran away from me so I stayed up there. Then it dawned on me how high up I was in the tree and I started getting scared. I stayed up for about thirty minutes until Nate finally noticed something was wrong.
