My face stood frozen as Hades spit the words from his mouth with much harshness.

His green eyes looking quite eerie and deadly as they shifted back and forth between lighter green and darker green.

He looked absolutely delicious in the dark suit he wore with the black mask that covered most of his flawless face.

My tongue felt dry, yet I had five glasses of punch that surely quenched my thirst.

I looked around and wondered why didn't anyone say anything about how he had just spoken to me, he said it loud enough for a few faces to turn, hell if the music was down, I'm sure downstairs would have heard it, so what was it?

Not even a glance came our way, the oblivious wolves just continued with their partying unaware that thee hades wolf(my gorge mate) is giving me the evil eye.

"Cat go your tongue, darling, he growled out.

"How did you get in here, I growled trying to break free from his iron hold.

"you should know by now darling that I'm a master of disguise, nobody but my pack and yourself knows how I look unless I'm in wolf form, besides years of covering my scent has payed off, he smirked.

I looked away and tried getting the attention of the party people who were less than 16 ft from me.

"Don't bother, mate my pack members know better than to disturb me, I made sure that some stayed downstairs others up so just in case if they see you to alert me through mind link, and one of them Chloe said they caught you snogging with some blonde bastard, he growled eyes Turning an eerie color.

"I was just talking to Wes, why does it matter to you anyway, you said that you didn't want me, your just confusing me now, you say you don't want me yet you can't stay away from me, make up your mind, I replied glaring at him.

I may not want you, but I sure as hell won't allow you to be with anyone else, he said.

"So I can't be happy because of your stupid logic and pride-" wait so your pack members know you found your mate, I respond responded eyes bugging out of my socket.

"Of course not, the information could leak out to other packs and they would constantly try to use you to hurt me, I just simply told them you had stolen my battle field techniques, he said smoothly and smiling triumphantly.

"You dick, I spat stepping on his foot with my heels. Instantly he let go, and I made a run passed his pack members.

I searched for the nearest face I knew frantically, and spotted Wes playing with his drink while leaning on the punch table.

I walked as quick as I could in heels and I didn't dare look behind me. When I reached him, he looked up and smiled at me but tilted his head.

"What's wrong, it looks like you've seen a ghost, he exclaimed laughing at me. He wasn't wrong.

My throat felt tight and my palms sweaty, my heart rate off the chart. I faked a smile at him my teeth chattering in fear.

"Please, if a ghost was here you'd be the first to run, I said and faked a laugh. "Please, but seriously, you look like you pissed your pants in fear, everything okay, he asked a little concerned which made my heart warm up.

At least someone cared, I thought. "I'm fine, really, I lied and faked yet another smile to hide my chattering teeth.

"If you say so, he muttered not convinced by my attempt.

I was about to reply when Terra walked over with a guy with shaggy blonde hair, a dark tan skin, clef chin, and all, he was the stereotypical surfer guy.
