My mother and my grandmother Helen, Troy my cousin, and my Grandfather Nigel sat at the pack table eating brunch together when I came downstairs. It had been almost three weeks since Christmas the New Year arrived. New Year's Eve had been a hectic day.
Imagine listening to over 100's of people make there New Years resolution.
"This year I'm going to try and lose 50 pounds and eat carefully"
"I'm gonna cut down on the carbs"
"I m going to do all my homework" "
"I'm going to find my mate"
seriously people all you're doing is going into a new year not a new decade.
My brother still hasn't spoken to me but I often feel his eyes on the back of my head penetrating it. Mother and my grandparents and my cousin seemed to be in deep conversation until I came down. It was around 12:00 and I had just came back from running in wolf form.
I had to do this almost every weekend because my wolf got tiredness and would often take control of my body. My clothes were a bit wrinkly from me caring them in my mouth during wolf form. I wore loose sweat shorts and a faded blue t shirt and my old tennis shoes.
My hair was pulled in a tight but messy middle bun. I walked straight pass them to the fridge and retrieved a cold mini Gatorade fruit punch flavored. I briefly looked and noticed my grandmothers look of distaste and disdain.
My grandmother was rather old fashion and believed a girl should hold herself as a proper lady. She often scolded me for my boyish clothes or how I always covered up. She shook her head at how I didn't date or mingle with anyone or how I only remained in a small circle.
She told me when she was my age she was head cheerleader a dancer and had grandpa wrapped around her finger.
Her and grandpa weren't true mates, but choice mates. I have only known her for about three weeks but she's already a nagging pain in the neck. She especially hated when I didn't wear girly colors or dresses and how my face was make up free.
My mother was a extreme girly girl and had followed in Helen's foot-steps.
She was head cheer-leader and my father wasn't her mate, and she loved to dance.
Ever since my grandma got hear she made sure to express her interest in my brother and her distaste in me.
I grabbed a bag of nacho cheese flavored Doritos and began munching on them lowly
"You shouldn't be eating that, you need to be eating the vegetable chips I bought, my grandmothers voice sounded which made me roll my eyes.
"those are gross and tasteless, I stated wrinkling my nose in dissatisfaction.
"But there healthy, ladies look after there bodies and watch what there eating, tonight I think you should have a salad, my grandmother remarked tapping her wrinkle free fingers on the table.
"Ladies also don't starve themselves, I thought.
"I think I'll pass, my friends and I are going out to eat, I said licking my fingers.
Before she could even retort, the front door of the pack house was opened and heavy boots clanked towards the kitchen.
In walked a tall and Very attractive male with a cocky smile.
He had lightly tanned skin one deep dimple in his lower right cheek, light blue eyes, and wavy light Strawberry blonde hair.
He had on a pair of blue faded skinny jeans and a loose t-shirt in which I could see his 6 pack in. He stood a few feet away from me.
