#9- Battle Mate Part 2-3

Darkness.

It surrounded Wes and I, but fortunately, we wolves were born to be night creatures, at least of you were born with alpha blood. I could see in the dark, and I could also sense my glaring mate 6 ft from me.

His green eyes looked as though they were about to pop out of his head, his nostrils flared in rage as he looked at the position Wes and I were in.

I had almost forgot that Wes was here with me, and I'm pretty sure he heard the door being knocked off the hinges.

Seconds later, he jumped to his feet and whipped his head around looking in the dark room. Hades let out a deep chuckle which made me shiver and my knees buckle.

God he sounded hot when he was mad.

"Who's there?, Wes question and stepped closer to the doorway hades was leaning on smirking devilishly. And in just 3.2 milliseconds, Wes was knocked out on the floor of my bedroom, his face was bruised horribly from the punch he took from Hades.

I instantly dropped to my knees and tenderly touched and felt the unconscious Wes, trying to see if he still had a pulse. Thankfully he did, but it was faint.

In a matter of seconds I was pulled by my waist and was met with firm hands and angry eyes. I had to admit, he put all men to shame with his dark and dangerous rogue looks.

Calvin Klein models couldn't compare to such finery, he was. He licked his plump lips and growled lowly at me, his nose trailing over my neck. He nipped at a specific part of my neck that held an unknown mark. My knees were weak as my eyes instantly closed.

"Mine, he growled, holding my face carefully looking at me. I might have looked flustered aroused and completely nervous. He had just knocked a guy who had a slight interest in me down.

"Fuck... Off, I murmured, my mind dead from his smooth lips lapping over my neck. He chuckled and ripped those soft lips off of me.

I glared at him and looked down to Wes in fear. What if hades knocked him hard enough to have a concussion, or worse? I reached out in Wes's direction but pulled my hands back when hades growled lowly.

"I need to see if he's okay you fucking idiot, you knocked the shit out of him, i spat out at him. "Learn to use your words carefully Mate, I won't hesitate to discipline your smart ass, he zapped out.

My mouth clamped shut after that remark.

Wes was already over here half dead, I didn't want to endanger any pack members that were still in the house. "You flipping asshat, don't you know some of my pack members are here, they must already know about the lights, I hissed at him and slapped my forehead.

How could I forget that other pack members could have been listening to our conversation, and even found out that hades was my mate.

"I'm not fúčkïńg stupid, I figured the alpha wouldn't let the children and women go to the annual sappy ass ball, so I've been making frequent attacks on the packs, your alpha has put the children and women in the pack safe house north, he stated smoothly.

"How the hell do you know this, what have you been spying on me? I asked bewildered at the nerve of him. "I wasn't spying, just merely keeping tabs on your pack specifically that's all, he replied smoothly.

My mind traced over recent events that have left me tongue tied. When I first met hades, when I found out he was hades, and just recently when he had those sinfully plump lips on me.

"What do you want Wolfe, I'm sick and tired over childish games, you don't want me yet, you don't want me happy, I hissed out fed up with hades bull.

"I refuse the though of another male touching what's mine, I'll rip them apart with my bare hands before that happens, he reclaimed giving me a hard look.

I was about to respond to his remark when the door to the pack house opened and closed. Hades must have heard it to because instantly his ears perked up and he froze.

"Hello, anyone in here? A familiar voice boomed through the quiet pack house. I recognized that annoying sound anywhere.

My brother was home.

My hand instantly went to my hair pulling hard as my teeth clenched. My brother was in the house, and by his scent not very far. I looked up to hades'a gorgeous face and noticed the bastard wasn't the least bit worried but looking at me with an amused look.

"My brother is on his way up here and you aren't the least bit worried, I remarked glaring hard at the very attractive male before me. "I hadn't expected for him to do bedroom checks, hades shrugged still looking unfazed by this all. Will someone come quickly before I strangle him.

I was glad my brother had all the rooms in the pack sound proof, it gave me somewhat of an advantage.

"My sweet Berry, you do realize no one but my pack and yourself has seen me in my human form, he said with humor in his tone. My fear was gone, washed away when he said that. Oh yeah I did remember Dad telling me about that.

"That may be true dear mate, but what shall I tell my brother when he discovers a wolf not from our pack u conscious in my room, I replied crossing my arms. "And did you just call me berry, I said now remembering his words.

"Yep, because your berry scent it very addicting, he said smiling sly when a blush appeared in my cheeks. "Focus. you blundering idiot, I hissed and realized I didn't hear my brother anymore. I froze when my brothers foot steps started to get close to my door. "You have to go out the window, I'll just tell him Wes got drunk and fell out in my room, I aid quickly.

I should have known better than to think this bastard would heed my words.

He grabbed Wes's limp body and threw him out the fucking window. I quickly rushed to the window and saw Wes to drop into the bushes.

"You flipping Asswipe-" I was cut off when hades grabbed my wrist closed the window and swiftly led me to the bathroom. I gasped when his strong hands settled on my waist picked me up and placed me in the shower and shut the curtain. He stepped in right behind me.

And the door to my room was opened.

Berry is her new nickname, or better yet pet name. I wanted to do something different from other stories that have kitten and peaches as their pet name, I didn't want to be cliche so yeah named her berry.
