Chapter 5: A promise to Maka

I went out in the garden. I my papa would stop being overly protected.

Soul came outside and sat with me on the bench. It was a beautiful night. He placed his hand over my shoulders.

"So your dad does not approve me?"

"Just give some time and he will like you."

Soul smiled. I love the way he smiles. I don't care if he has sharp teeth. I can't stop looking at his red dreamy eyes.

"I promise", he said.

" Promise for what", I replied.

"I promise to love you."

"I love you."

"I don't like you, I love you very much ever since I laid eyes on you."

"Okay?"

"Okay!"

Soul and I stayed outside and gaze upon the stars. He pulled out something. It was a box. He opened it and their inside is a necklace. The necklace was snapped into a soul heart. Words were in printed upon it. It says here, "Our love will never be destroyed by anything."

I kissed Soul on the cheek.

"You missed."

"What?"

"This is where you kiss."

Soul pulled me close to him. He lifted my head up and kissed me again on the lips. This night has never been this romantic in my life.

Tsubaki and the others came out.

"Are you guys are okay" Kid asked

"Were fine" I replied.

As Soul and I came home from the dance, I went take off my dress. I went into my hoodie and leggings to sleep in. Anyway its comfortable. I went to my bed. I never felt so happy in my life. The fact that I am dating Soul.

A knock out of nowhere came. It was Soul. I let him in. He lay beside me on my bed. I guess he couldn't sleep.

"Maka can I ask you something?"

"Sure" I replied with excitement.

"How much do you love me?"

"I love you more than anything."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I am sure."
