Snowflakes in chilly noons
entangled in my hair
In faded sunshine morning
I could not resist your glare.
Driving up to the doctor
You never let show you care.
You said don't tell your mother
I couldn't speak, I just nodded.
In dentist's office I was freaking
You took my hand and
Said "There's nothing to scare"
My eyelids were glued shut
And my hand was in your palms
And I knew if had you,
It was going to hurt less.
