CHAPTER 20: CROSSING PATH

Everyone was on the edge in the heavenly palace realm because they know that Ta de shengjie Xinyi doesn't want to personally deal with the problem in the human realm. He needs to personally take care of the matter as soon as possible to stop more problems. There's been unrest at the Meng Empire's border so he has to descend to the border himself.

"Bi Xia Emperor Qin I will have to descend to the human realm because of the unrest and a lot of innocent people died due to territory struggles in Meng Empire." Xinyi said.

"Shi. It's up to you if you still gonna cloak your face in the human realm or not but I suggest that you do. Be discreet in doing your task there. Remember don't get entangled by anyone." Emperor Qin replied.

"Do what you have to do my son. If it will take you some time to stay in the human realm so be it. Don't worry about your son. I and your Muqin will take good care of your son." Emperor Qin added.

"Shi. I will do so Fuqin." Xinyi replied.

Xinyi just took with him a small pouch and he changes his hanfu that suits the taste in the human realm. He took Prince Weili and brought him to his parent's bedchamber to be taken care of. While walking towards his parent's room he said to his son. "Your Papa will be out for a while and do behave because your Zufu and  Zumu will take care of you."

"Fuqin and Muqin. I will leave my son under your care I have to go. This matter is really urgent." Xinyi said at the same time kisses the forehead of his son.

"Shi. Leave your son to us. We will take good care of your son." Empress Qin said.

"Don't forget to change your name if you need it." Emperor Qin said.

Xinyi descends to the border of the Meng Empire but he cloaks himself so no one will be able to see him. He saw carnage and bloodshed on the ground. Too much smell of death in the air. He was observing the whole area high up in the sky. He decides not o interfere unless it's necessary.

He saw someone fight the bandit and his got wounds some are superficial but others are severe that blood gushing out. Trail of blood can be seen from this man but he keeps fighting. Xinyi saw the whole thing unfold in his eyes when this man faint. He swoops down to get to the man out of the battlefield and killed the enemy by sharp icicles that could pierce through a human heart.

Xinyi saw an old run-down house where they can temporarily stay for a while and clean the man's wound. He does not want to use his power to heal him. They stayed there for a couple of hours when the rain pours heavily and a strong gust of winds toppled the roof over. They were drenched in the rain so he was forced to use his power by creating a shield.

He saw the man was already shivering and his already having a fever without touching him. Xinyi looks for ways to find another shelter but he can only find a cave.

"This is the only available place to stay and get dry so I'll take it although it's not convenient for me." Xinyi in his thought.

He took the man and brought the man with him but he wasn't personally carrying him but he uses a small amount of his power to levitate and shielded him from rain until they reach the entrance of the cave. Xinyi then created the fire and went out to find food and medicine for them. He prepares the food and boils water for the medicine. He just waits for the man to wake up.

It's been hours and hours so Xinyi decided to eat the food that he found and left a few of them for the man to eat. It took him two hours to stay awake until his eyelids drop down closing his eyes.
