Chloe POV
"Really?" I squealed. My sister Taylor (Yes the Taylor Swift) just asked if she could use some of the many songs I've written. "Yes! But the thing is... I wouldn't be able to give you credit. The record label said I have to write all my own songs." She explained. "That's ok with me." I said still happy. "Really?" She asked. "Yeah. I know I wrote them so that's what matters!" I said beaming. "Ok! But you have to promise fnot to tell anyone." She said getting very serious. "Not even Paige?" I said my eyes getting wide. "Well... You can ONLY tell Paige because I trust her. But that's it. No one else. Promise?" She said holding out her pinky. "Promise!" I agreed locking our pinkies.
Present day
"What?!" Mr. Johnson shouted clearly outraged. "I'm sorry sir." Taylor apologized again. "You've been using this kids songs for 2 freakin years!!!" He screamed. I looked down ashamed. "In her defense sir... She did help with most of them." I said defending my sister. "Well no one can find out out about this!" He said thinking out loud. "Ah ha! We can move you to the neighborhood next to yours so we can still use Chloe's songs." He said talking to Taylor. She just nodded. "Wait so you're taking my sister away!" I yelled. "No no no. Just moving her about 10 minutes away so you can still write her songs and no one will get suspicious. The press doesn't even know about you." He explained. "But-" I started but Tay stopped me. "Ok. If this will keep my family safe from the paparazzi I'll do it." She decided. "Great! I'll get you a new place and some new furniture and some...." He continued. They're taking my sister away.
Back at home
"I'm gonna miss you!" I cried into her dress. "Aww Chlo! I'll miss you too! I'll only be a 15 minute drive away though." Tay laughed. "But who am I gonna have midnight chats with? Or sneak mid night snacks with? Or get mid night celebrity gossip from? Or mid night- wow we do a lot of things at mid night." I thought out loud. "Chloe it's ok! I'll see you everyday after school and I'll FaceTime you." She promised. "Okay." I sighed. "Bye bubba loo!"She called on her way out. "Bye boo!" I waved. That's been our thing forever. I'm gonna miss her. "Chlo-bird go get ready for dance!" My mom called to me from the driveway helping put away Tay's boxes. "K!" I responded. I ran upstairs and put on a grey long sleeve crop top and black booty shorts. I slipped on some black leggings and my ALDC team jacket over my dance outfit because it was cold out. I pulled on my grey UGGS grabbed my dance bag and headed back downstairs. I took my phone out of my dance bag and saw I had 3 text messages. 2 from Paige and one from Tay. D
Tay:
Hey girlie miss u already. C u and paigey after dance❤️

I responded quickly.
Chlo:
Miss u 2. Can't wait for fro yo afterwards❤️
I sent it and read Paige's.

Hey. Can't wait for fro yo after dance.😋

I asked my mom.

Me 2. My mom said yes. She said you can sleep over 2 if u want!!

I read the text and ran to my driveway. Paige ran outside her house. Did I mention we live across the street from each other? Because we do! "Paigey Mack!" I yelled. "Chlo- Bird!" She shrieked. We ran to each other and hugged really tight. "What are you wearing?" I asked. She unzipped her jacket to reveal a brown crop top with a black flower thingie. "Dang it." I said. "What are you wearing?" She asked zipping her jacket up again because it was freezing. "My grey long sleeve crop top." I explained not wanting to get even colder. "Ok help me pack for tonight!" Paige said grabbing my wrist and pulling me to her house. As we passed my mom getting the mail I told her I was helping Paige pack. She nodded as we ran. "Hi Chlo!" Kelly greeted me as we ran inside. "Hi Ms. Kelly." I said slowing down. We walked upstairs to Paige's room and started to pack. "Ok so tomorrow we are gonna match. So let's wear this one!" I said excitedly while holding up a pink one shoulder sports bra. The shoulder strap had multiple thin pink ones on the right side though. "Kk!" Paige agreed grabbing her blue toothbrush from her bathroom. I chose an 'after dance' outfit for her. I grabbed a pair of black leggings and a blue knit sweater that had the infinity symbol on it and grey UGGS. She finished packing and we walked back to my place. "Ready for filming today?" I asked as we climbed into my mom's car. "When aren't I?" She joked. "Oh I don't know maybe the time when you walked into pyramid not realizing your jelly doughnut stain on your leotard!" I laughed. "One time!" Paige defended laughing. I took out my phone and took at selfie of us. "Ok girls we're here!" My mom announced as we pulled into a stop at the ALDC. I put my hair in a ponytail and hopped out of the car. Paige grabbed my hand and we ran inside. "Chloe!!!! Paige!!!!" Kendall yelled while engrossing us in a group hug as we walked into the dancers den. "Kendall K!" I yelled hugging her back. "It's been forever!" Paige added. We have been on break for a month and we haven't seen most of the girls because they went on vacation. "How was your cruise?" I asked Kendall while taking off my jacket leggings and boots. "It was so fun! We went to the Bahamas and it was gorgeous!" Kendall gushed. I smiled. Maddie and Kenzie walked in. "Maddie! Kenzie!" I yelled jumping up and hugging them both. "Hi guys!" Maddie said giving us all hugs. I hugged Kenzie super tight. Even though she's a lot younger than me she's mature for her age. She's one of my closest friends. Nia ran in. "Ni!" I said running up to her. "Hi Chlo!" She responded giving me a quick hug because she had to change. Brooke walked in. All the girls ran to her. Paige and I stayed back. We see her every day. Nia walked back in. "Girls let's go!" I heard Abby yell. "Dun dun." I whispered to Paige. Paige giggled kinda loudly. "Shhh!" I shushed her. We walked into studio 'A' and took our spots in line. "Ok let's start pyramid. Maddie! You're on bottom! You forgot your solo at nationals!" Abby yelled. I gave Maddie a quick hug. "It happens to everyone." I whispered to her. "Thanks." She mouthed. I nodded. "Next, Brooke. You had flailing arms in the group. Next Nia. You need to point your feet! How many times do I have to tell you! Next Mackenzie. You did ok. Ok doesn't cut it. On the next row we have Kendall. Kendall you did great in the group but forgot a step in your solo. And on top we have a tie! Chloe and Paige!" Ms Abby announced. Everybody clapped for us. Paige and I embraced. "Good job girls!" Holly congratulated. "Thank you." We said in unison. "Ok this week we have 2 solos a duet and a a group." Ms Abby started. "Mackenzie you have a solo called watch me fly and Chloe you have a solo entitled Lucky Star." Everyone clapped. "And the duet will go to..." Ms Abby started. I grabbed Paige's hand. We've been asking for one for months. "Chloe and Paige!" Ms Abby finished. "Yay!" Paige squealed. We hugged. "Ok mom's dismissed. Girls start stretching." Abby said starting some warm up music. I have a lot to do this week.
After dance
"Bye girls!" Paige and I waved on our way out. We had changed into our other clothes. We climbed into my mom's car and drove to meet Tay at menchie's. I saw her in the window. "Bye mom! See you at 5!" I shouted as Paige and I climbed out of the car. "H-hi." A girl about Kenzie's age stammered walking up to us. "Hi!" I waved. "I'm a huge fan of dance mom's." She said. "Aww thanks!" Paige said hugging her. "Come here let's take a selfie!" I said pulling out my phone. The girl smiled and I snapped the picture. "What's your Instagram?" I asked. "Dance_moms_lover_101" she said. I giggled. I tagged her and posted the picture. "Bye!" We waved. We walked into Menchie's. "Tay!!!" I yelled hugging her. "Chlo!" She said kissing my cheek. "Hey Paigey Mack!" She said hugging Paige. "Hey Tay Tay." Paige said returning the hug. "So how was dance?" Taylor asked putting yogurt in her cup. "Awesome. We we both on the top of the pyramid this week I got a solo and we have a duet together!" I exclaimed. "Awesome!! Have any new songs in mind?" She asked. Taylor laughed. It's true. Paige does. She finds the good in everyone. "Well this song is awesome!" Paige laughed. I played it for Tay giving her my ear buds. "Wow that is awesome!" She exclaimed. We got to the register. Because Tay's body guards were outside nobody else except for one worker was inside. "$15.23" she said cooly. "OMG I love you guys!!" She freaked out. "Thanks." I said giving her the money. She put the money in and we ate our yogurt just talking about dance and stuff for the rest of the time. Soon it was 5 o'clock. "Bye Tay." I said disappointed. "I'll talk to you girls later." She said hugging me. I hate that she had to move. Because of me.
Taylor POV
I hate seeing my little Chlo like this. I hugged her one last time before they left. I hugged Paige once more too. This stinks. I had to move because the press can't know I have a sister. Paparazzi already follows them everywhere I don't see the big deal. I emailed the new song to Mr. Johnson. Hope he likes it. Sometimes he's a jerk. Making me move. I miss my Chlo Bird
