Beep beep beep beep! My alarm clock rang. I looked at the clock. 2:30. I hate competitions that are far away"Turn that thing off!" Paige whined. She slept over last night. I smacked my alarm clock. Nothing. I smacked it again. Nothing. "You need a new alarm clock." Paige groaned getting up. "Preach it sista." I joked. "Ok so I'll shower you eat then switch?" Paige suggested. "Um I'll shower in my mom's room then we can eat together." I decided. "Kk." Paige said walking into my bathroom. I grabbed my clothes and walked to my mom's room. I showered quickly and got dressed. I was wearing an ALDC black top and black leggings. I grabbed my jacket and UGGS and went to my room where Paigey was brushing her hair. "Hi!" She greeted. "Hey." I said applying lip gloss. For our duet our hair was curled and for my duet with Josh it was in a bun and it was in a bun for my solo and straight for the group. So I decided to do some curls then I'll add my hair piece when we get there. I grabbed all my costumes and my makeup kits and we headed downstairs. "Hi mom hey Taylor!" I greeted walking downstairs. "Hey bubba loo!" Tay said hugging me. "Hey Tay Tay!" Paige waved. "Hey Paigey Mack!" Taylor said hugging Paige. "I have a concert in Florida tomorrow so I'm going with you guys today!" Tay surprised us. "Really?" I asked. "Yeah but I can't go on the bus with you guys. I'll come to the competition tonight in disguise and sit behind mom. Ok?" She explained. Paige and I nodded. The doorbell rang. "Hide!" I whisper yelled at Taylor. She ran behind the counter. I opened the door. "Hi Josh!" I waved. "Hey babe." Josh said slipping his arm around my waist. I stepped out side and closed the door. "why are you here?" I asked. "Well we are riding with you guys to the ALDC but I can't sit with you on the bus." He pouted. "All better?" I asked pecking his cheek. "No." He said flatly. "Too bad. I have to go eat. Go home." I said pecking his cheek one more time. I went inside and locked the door. "That was a close one." I sighed. "So what'd your BOYFRIEND want?" Paige teased. "I thought that was Josh?" Taylor said confused. "It was." Paige said. "Shut up! You hate Josh!" Taylor said jumping. "Boyfriend?" My mom teased. "Yes." I said sheepishly. "BOYFRIEND?!" My dad yelled from upstairs. Uh oh. "It's a dance we are coming up with!" Paige quickly lied. "Ok..." My dad said walking back into his office. "Let's do our dances one more time." I suggested. "Ok. Here's contestant number blank Chloe with Lucky Star." Paige announced. I did my dance flawlessly. "Ok here's contestants number blank with broadway blondes!" My mom announced. We perfected our dance and I marked my other duet and we did the group. "Great job girls!" Taylor gushed. "Thanks!" Paige and I said in unison. I checked the time. 3:00 am "Common guys! Let's go!" I said hopping in the car. Taylor waved and I waved back. Josh was already in our car. "Hey baby." I said putting my seat belt on. "Hey babe." He said kissing my cheek. "Are you guys still faking it?" Brooke asked. "Nope! We're a thing!" Josh said grabbing my hand. "Cute! Lemme tweet it!" Brooke said. "No!" I shouted. "Why?" She asked. "Do you know how many 'Mosh' shippers there are? They'll tear me to shreds." I explained. "Right." Brooke said putting her phone away. "What's mosh?" Josh asked clearly confused. "Maddie and Josh. So many fans want you two together." Paige explained. "Oh." Josh said looking at the ground. "What happened yesterday with Maddie?" He asked. "Well she yelled at me and said whoever thought I'd be replaced by you. She apologized but it still kinda stings." I explained. "I'm gonna-" "Josh it's fine." I said putting my hand on his shoulder. He rolled his eyes and soon enough we were there. "Bye." I said to him knowing we couldn't act like boyfriend girlfriend the rest of the day. Before I unbuckled he kissed me. And not our normal cheek pecks or lips pecks. It was a real kiss. We broke apart and I pecked his cheek. "Bye." He waved. Paige and I held hands and we ran to the bus. "The party has arrived!" I announced as we got on the bus. "Chlo! Paige! How are you?" A voice I knew all to well said. "Peyton! It's been so long!" I faked a smile. Josh boarded the bus. "Joshie Poo!" Peyton said wrapping her arms around his neck. "Peyton." He said faking a smile and hugging her back. She started flirting with him and he just was nodding. "Peyton! Josh! Sit down!" Abby yelled as the bus started to move. "I'll get you..." Peyton whispered brushing past me. Paige and I took our regular seats and Kenzie sat next to me. I checked the time. 3:30. We were driving for about 15 hours for our competition tonight. Kenzie put her head in my lap and I put my head on Paige's shoulder and Paige put her head on the window. I took my earbuds out and gave one to Paige and we listened to some of the songs I wrote for Tay's new album. I set an alarm for 3:30pm. 12 hours from now. Just incase I fell asleep.
