Chapter 6

Percy POV
I was getting ready to square off against the brat, Chaos mind linked me.

Percy.
What is it Chaos?
Your apprentice will be coming down to assist in the mission.
Alrighty. When is she going to arrive?
Soon. Be ready, she's coming with the ship.
Ok, bye.

And then I cut off the connection. I couldn't afford to be distracted.

"Hey Omega," Leo yelled from the other room. "Kick his ass for us will ya?"

"You know it!"

In the Arena- Percy POV

I walked out into the arena in just my cloak, jeans, and a t-shirt. I had my sword in one hand and was lazily twirling a dagger in the other. What? I have ADHD, I can't focus for that long!

Once Kyel had taken his dear sweet time to get to the arena, Chiron walked to the center of the arena to announce the rules. This was going to be bigger than I thought.

The entire camp was here and even some of the gods. Aphrodite was sitting with her children talking about makeup or something, idk about that stuff. Hephaestus was talking to a few of his sons about some sort of paper he was holding, and Zeus and Hera were fighting like usual.

Even Poseidon was here to watch his son fight.

Chiron banged his hoof on the ground to get everyone's attention.

Once he was sure that everyone was looking at him he started talking.

"Good afternoon everyone! This will be a fair duel, no cheating or foul play. Seeing as Kyel is the challenger, we will play by his rules. What have you decided on Kyel?"

Kyel smiled and said in a very smug voice, "All weapons and powers. He can't possible beat me when I'm at full capacity."

Chiron smiled and nodded.

"Alright then! Let the fight begin," he announced, stepping back to get out of the way.

And that's when Kyel made his first big mistake.

He lunged at me with his sword in his right hand, leaving his entire left side open for me to attack. I sidestepped and slashed upwards with my sword. I did not use Riptide, as that would have given my identity away. Instead, I used a sword that Chaos had given me, which I named Δράκων, which is Ancient Greek for drakon.

I dodged his pathetic attempt at an attack and slashed upward. After giving him a scratch and knocking him off balance, I summoned a wave of water to knock him backwards.

Kyel was lying on the ground gasping for breath, with his sword on the other side of the arena.

"It took me a total of 5 minutes to beat you, this was hardly a challenge," I said with a snarky tone.

"And if you'll excuse me, my apprentice is coming soon so I'll be on my way."

My warriors teleported to me and we started walking towards the ship that was landing just outside the arena. Suddenly, Zoe screamed out and fell, with a knife lodged in her back.

We could see Kyel standing a couple yards away triumphantly and could tell that he was the one who threw the knife.

By now the ship had landed and I ran over to greet my apprentice.

"Sylver!! Thank goodness you're here, Zoe is injured. Got a knife thrown at her while her back was turned," I gasped out, panting from running.

"What?" she exclaimed, "Who is that sneaky and underhanded that they'd attack while her back was turned?"

"No time for that," I said. "Zoe is dying!"

"I'll try to heal her, but I'm not the most skilled at healing, you know this."

"Can you at least try?"

"Of course I'll try. She's my best friend!"

"Also, make sure to use her code name, Arrow. Nobody knows who she really is."

"You got it."

Third Person POV:

Sylver ran over to Zoe and started to heal her using the magic Chaos had given her when she became Percy's apprentice.

The other warriors watched worriedly.

"We need to take her to your cabin for her to heal in peace," Sylver said. "I've done all I can for now, she needs to rest."

"Roger that Sylver, half of you go with her to the cabin and the other half come with me. We're gonna teach that kid a lesson for almost killing my girlfriend."

I'm so so sorry that this me took forever to post. I haven't been very motivated lately. The newest character is the oc that SylverDaFox gave me. I hope I did good Sylver! I will be posting a character profile for her later and be sure to check out my other book, Multifandom Oneshots and give me a request! I need ideas!
