Logan holds Virgil's hand tightly. They're In a "family meeting" and Virgil can't help but think it's his fault.
"Virgil. Patton, Roman and I have discussed, and we think that Thomas should see a therapist." Logan starts, Patton continues "seeing someone can be a very scary thing kiddo, so we thought we should tell you before we made that decision. So that everyone is aware this is happening."
Virgil nods, Roman adds on "Thomas hasn't been getting a lot of work done. He's been having a lot of intrusive thoughts and anxiety."
Logan finishes. "So, because Mental health is just as important as physical health, we want him to see someone about it. But we don't want to just surprise you with it."
Virgil takes a deep breath in.
"What if the therapist says something is wrong with us?" Virgil asks
"Then we do what we can to correct it. Medication, venting, whatever we can do to make life easier for Thomas" Logan reassures.
"Okay but the therapist might judge us." Virgil says. Patton retorts. "The therapist studied and worked hard so that they can help people like us. They know what they signed up for."
Virgil nods. Considers for a few moments before saying. "I think it'd be for the best."A few months later
