i dont remember much after what happened. i do remember waking up in a cell. grey floors, bars for walls and covering the windows, just like a jail cell. i knew i wasnt in a jail though. i was in a house. it smelt like a house. i might be in the basement. i looked around and put my hands up to the bars on the window. it was a beautiful day despite my.. umm.. situation.
i wonder how maxon is doing.
he must be searching the whole kingdom for me. did the rebels take me? was it the northern or southern rebels?
a while back maxon had made peace with the northern rebels. they said they wanted him to choose me or one other girl who they wouldn't mention to my face. maxon was upset that he was being pressured to choose me. he hated that. i don't know why though. maybe he's just been pressured a lot. well anyway, he chose me so we have peace with the northern rebels.
i heard footsteps coming down the stairs. i jumped away from the window and sat down, my back pushing against the wall. a man with a big man with a white t-shirt and jeans came to the cell door. he had a long greasy beard and a toothpick in his mouth.
defiantly the southern rebels.
i gasped as he walked towards me and put my hands on my stomach.
then i realized that hurt.
it hurt to breathe and touch my stomach. i remembered i had gotten shot. i grazed my fingers over my stomach and found that there were two bullet wounds. it didnt hurt come to thing about it. i stood up and walked around without feeling anything.
the man crouched down in front of me and i wanted to cry. i was shaking and sweating in fear that me may hurt me or if i try anything,
maxon
he just laughed.
he laughed at me. i couldn't understand why. i must have looked like a scared little puppy.
no.
i have to be stronger than that.
i forced my self to stop shaking and look the man in the eye.
"what." i said with extreme attitude i might add.
"come with me" he said looking right back in my eyes.
he grabbed my wrists and pulled me up the stairs.
it was actually a really nice house. it wasn't as big as the castle, obviously, but it was very nice. i didn't think the southern rebels had nice houses.
then i saw her.
queen amberly.
oh my.
