"New Directions...I would like to introduce you
to our new show choir consultant...Jesse St. James." I rolled my eyes as I glared at Jesse.

"I don't trust this guy." I spat, Jesse has a face that can't be trusted, and with what he did to Rachel before and at Prom, I can't forgive him.

"He's gonna trick us into doing something stupid so his alma mater wins." I nod along with Finn, we were, so far, the only people disagreeing.

"I don't need to do much tricking to get you to do something stupid, Finn." I nearly tackled Jesse to the ground if it wasn't for Finn holding me back, Finn and I finally made up after the incident at prom, we're closer then ever.

"Guys, Jesse is just a consultant. I still make all the calls. I have all the confidence in the world in you guys. I just think we could use all the help we can get because... this is it. We've been working so hard for two years for this moment, and that moment is finally here." I smiled slightly, it's true we've worked hard for this moment. "I was talking with Jesse and he agreed we should continue with our successful trend...of doing original songs for the competition.
I was thinking of doing one group number and one duet." Mr Shue explained, maybe this is my chance to get a solo instead of Rachel.

"Rachel and I should sing a duet. We killed it last year at regionals with "Faithfully."" Finn suggested, shrugging, "Yeah. It killed us. We lost." Quinn scoffed.

"May I?" Jesse asked, "Uh, yeah." Mr Shue nodded.

"I agree that Rachel should sing lead, but, Finn, I think it's best if you sit this one out. The fact is, most of the other guys in here are better singers... and Mike Chang, who can't even sing, can at least dance.
You kind of sing and dance like a zombie who has to poop." I stood up and walked down until Finn pulled me back, can't I attack at least once.

"You see what I'm talking about? This guy's a jerk!" I scream out, "Jesse St. Sucks!"

"Maybe you could be a little gentler with your advice." Mr Shue told him, Jesse looked offended, "Gentle?"

"Yes." Mr Shue nodded, "I'm sorry. I didn't realize we were training for the "Good Try" ribbon at nationals. I thought we were in it to win the whole thing, and there's only one way we can do that." Jesse explains, I scoff.

"Poison darts?" Brittany asks confusingly, "The Vocal Adrenaline strategy is simple. Identify your best performer and build the entire performance around them." Jesse shrugs, looking at Rachel when he said 'star'.

"So what does everyone else do?" Mercedes asks, "And who's our star performer?" Puck adds.

Mr Shue and Jesse look at each other and nod, "We're gonna have auditions to find out. I'm gonna post a sign-up sheet later this afternoon." Good, I have a chance, maybe.

"Don't you think this is kinda not our style?" I shrug,
"Normally I'd agree with you, but this is the big time.
I think we should listen to Jesse." I look at Sam in disbelief, Jesse insulted him at prom, how is he okay with this?!

I scoff and roll my eyes, I lean back and cross my arms, glaring into the soul of Satan.

Once glee finishes, I walk out of the room, ignoring everyone besides Finn, because they seem to think Jesse belongs here.

I wander around the hall until I see Sue's office all blocked out, her blinds fully shut and no light. I think for a moment before knocking on the door, "Coach Sylvester? Are you in there?" I question softly, I hear a sniffle and then a lock being opened.
