Chapter 12: King

Season 2

~Tsukiya's POV~

We were all out grocery shopping, each of us holding a bag. It's been a while since we fought the alien space ship in City-A. Genos was also carrying a box and we conversed about dinner. We were wearing our casual clothes right now.

(His outfit)

Tsukiya: Who's cooking tonight?
Saitama: Definitely not me.
Tsukiya: Oi! You didn't cook last week Baldy!
Saitama: You shut up Short-Stack!
Genos: I'll be cooking tonight, I found a recipe that both of you will enjoy.
Tsukiya: Thanks Genos, I'll help out since Saitama over there is lazy.
   Tsukiya gave Saitama a playful glare and Saitama did the same. We noticed a familiar man, walking with a game in his hand.
Genos: Sensei, Senpai, that person seems to be King.
Tsukiya: Eh, what he doing here?
Saitama: Who?
Tsukiya: Seriously Saitama? I swear you have the memory of a goldfish.
Genos: We met him during that S-Class hero meeting. He's suppose to be the strongest man, excluding yourself Sensei.

Tsukiya: Well, he is a person. He might been shopping like us.
   Suddenly, a women screamed. There was a huge robot that showed up in front of King. The two talked, the robot knight thing wanted to kill King but he had to go to the restroom before fighting.
Tsukiya: That robot is seriously waiting?
Genos: I will not wait for King, I'll deal with this myself.
Saitama: Have at it Genos.
Tsukiya: Good luck~!
   We watched Genos as he fought the robot but he was struggling a bit.
Saitama: Need a hand Genos?
Genos: No Sensei, this is my fight. An opponent like this, must be defeated by me!
   Genos send rapid punches, effecting the robot.
Saitama: Okay then but don't lose, you hear?
Tsukiya: Are we going home?
Saitama: We have to visit somewhere before going home.
Tsukiya: Huh? Where are we going?
Saitama: Just follow me.

~King's POV~

    I got home safely after I ran away. I was so tired and out of breath.
King: I'll play my game to forget about it...
   The opening of my favorite game played, Doki Doki Sisters.
King: I'm so pumped.
Game: "Wake up onii-chan! It's morning!"
King: The hell is with this voice actress...can she be anymore bland?
   The name entry screen showed up.
King: Using my real name is too embarrassing, I'm 29 after all. Tough choice...
?: Why don't you go with King?
?: That's too lame, you should never use your hero name.
King: Your right. If anyone sees the game character calling me King onii-chan, I'm gonna kill myself...
   What? Who's here....? I turn to see two strangers in my home.
King: (Who are they? What are they doing here?)
   The balm man spoke first.
?: Your window was open.
King: Dude, this is the 22nd floor. T-This is quite bothersome, you two can't barge into someone's home! Don't you know I'm an S-Class hero?
?: King right? We met at the hero meeting.
King: !?
   Huh?!
King: (That bald guy...he's the B-Class hero! And the other one....he's the new S-Class hero!)
   The bald guy spoke again.
?: I gotta say...didn't think you'll be into these games.
?: Don't be rude, everyone has different taste. This series is pretty okay.
Game: "Onii-chan! Tell me your name!"
King: STOOOOOP!

~Tsukiya's POV~

   King start panicking when Saitama touches his game. Somehow he mistaken the game for an action one, even though it said Doki Doki on it...
Tsukiya: Saitama, wanna try playing?
Saitama: Yeah, show me it.
King: Eh...you actually want to play?
Saitama: Is that a no? I thought you were bored.
King: No....erm...
   King started the game and we watched.
Tsukiya: You're actually really good at this King.
Saitama: Damn, you're right, he is really good!
King: Well...I have topped a few gaming tournaments when I was younger...
   He said as he continues playing while drinking some type of juice box.

Tsukiya: At the top huh, you're pretty strong at games and real life...
Saitama: So why did you run away? Genos is fighting in your place.
   King spit his drink he had in his mouth.
Tsukiya: Saitama is right, you're an S-Class hero, yet you ran off?
Saitama: I came to ask you that, but you started playing games. Is it because monsters also bore you?
Tsukiya: (I don't think that's it though, King doesn't have a powerful aura like Saitama.)
   King was sweating a lot as he starts being intimidated by Saitama.
Saitama: Has becoming strong also bore you? What are you thinking? Please tell me.

   Suddenly, the sounds of the announcements came on.
Announcer: Emergency Evacuation!  A giant bird has been spotted above City-M. Please do not step outside. Disaster level: Demon.
Tsukiya: Another alert? There's been a lot of them lately.
   I suddenly felt a large presence coming towards us outside.
Saitama: Whelp, I guess we should go now.
   I turn towards the window to see the large bird coming right towards us, before it crashes through, I shielded King and myself. The bird crashed in Kong's apartment but Saitama stopped it with one hand.
Saitama: Huh, the disaster came here.
Tsukiya: Do you have something that makes monsters attract to you King?
   King looked really scared.
Saitama: Guess we gotta fight it now.

   The bird retracted and went for another attack. As the bird was screeching, King was yelling about something, by the time he was finished, Saitama killed the bird. It's carcass was about to fall on some building so I jumped out of the large hole that it made and touched the body, making it float before it caused any damage.
Tsukiya: Ugh, what am I gonna do with this?
I was floating next to it and called the hero association.
Tsukiya: Oi, I got the large monster bird in City-M. Can someone pick it up or do something about it? It already dead by the way.
Caller: I-I see Nova! Um......just place it near the forest and we'll get rid of it.
Tsukiya: Alright.

I sent off the huge body where they told me to do so and left to check on Saitama. Once I got back, I see King kneeling on the floor talking to Saitama.
Saitama: Well, I have to get going now, let's go Shorty.
Tsukiya: Don't call me that Egg-head!
King: Hold on a sec! Aren't you mad at me?
Saitama: We'll come over to play video games with you. Till then!
Saitama jumped off from the hole with the groceries. I looked at King and gave him a smile.
Tsukiya: Bye~ can't wait to play games with you~!
I jumped off as well, seeing Saitama waiting for me.
Tsukiya: So, what's with King?
Saitama: Every monster I killed, King was somehow there, getting the credit. He does it accidentally and it somehow managed to get him into S-Class.
Tsukiya: I don't know whether that's bad or good luck. Are you mad at him?
Saitama: Nope, not really. I hope he'll be stronger if he decided not to quit.
Tsukiya: Yeah, you're right. King is not bad though, we could be friends and I'll actually have competition~!
Saitama: What's that suppose to mean?!
Tsukiya: You never beat me in video games, King looks like a tough opponent.
Saitama: Oh yeah! One match at home!
Tsukiya: Prepare to lose~!

As we got home, I decided to check up with Genos and call him.
Tsukiya: Genos, how did you do? You defeated that robot right?
Genos: I did defeat him Senpai, I've been damage quite a bit so I'm getting myself to be repaired again.
Tsukiya: Alright, I'm glad you're okay. Come back soon~!
Genos: Y-Yes, I will. Bye.
The call ended and I turned to Saitama.
Tsukiya: Genos won't be back for a while, loser cooks tonight dinner?
Saitama: You're on!

Let's just say, Saitama was grumpy in the kitchen while I sip my wine watching him cook.
Tsukiya: Told you so~!
Saitama: *grumbles* He cheated...he gotta be cheating!
Tsukiya: That's what you always say, you just don't have the skill~
Saitama: Stop rubbing it in! Next time it'll be different!
   The rest of the day went on with it's usual day but the world wasn't expecting the start of a new strong villain, the hero hunter.
