nine.

It was the summer of 1936. A 17 year old young man named Jeon Jungkook was strolling down the street of his neighborhood. This year was different from the rest because it was the year were the annnoced same sex soulmates. Jungkook was so happy about this announcement because he knew from a young age that he liked boys but didn't say anything of it. Jungkook was born with no tattoo so when they announced this and released the names. Jungkook was beyond excited when a name appeared on his wrist. However, some parents were not happy about this announcement, including his parents. Which is why he never told them about his tattoo.

Jungkook was actually on his way to his friend Namjoon's house when suddenly he ran into somebody. Jungkook fell off of his bike and fell onto the grass. "Ow.." He winced while rubbing his head. He turned around to see a boy wincing rubbing his knee. Jungkook rushed over to him. "I'm so sorry for running into, please forgive me for my actions." Jungkook apologized. The boy shook his head and gave him a grin. "No..it was my fault for looking at where I was going. Don't blame yourself." The boy said.

Jungkook helped the boy up and smiled at him. Jungkook could feel his cheeks burning up, his heart beating, and a weird burning feeling on his chest. He couldn't quite tell what the feeling was. "So...Wh-what's your na-name..." Jungkook breathing quicken and soon that feeling in his chest turned into sudden pain.

Jungkook fell onto the ground with tears running down his cheeks and uneven breathing. He put his hand over his chest trying to stop the pain. The boy rushed to his side almost immediately. "Hey hey hey, look at me." Jungkook looked up at the boy. Which only made the pain a little bit worse. " Take deep breaths for me okay?" Jungkook tried to follow what the boy was telling him to but the pain wouldn't go away. The boy picked up Jungkook's hand and placed it on his heart. "Hey you feel my heartbeat yeah? Listen and try to replicate my heartbeat." Jungkook nodded and listened, closing his eyes to try and calm himself down. The boy soon followed.

Soon the pain would start to subside and Jungkook's breathing became normal again. Jungkook opened his eyes to see the boy wincing a little bit. Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows. "You good?" Jungkook asked concerned. The boy nodded and stood up, helping Jungkook up as well. Suddenly the two boys felt a slight tingling feeling on their arm, a bright light shinned almost blinding them in the process. "What's going on!?" The boy yelled. Jungkook tried to cover his eyes from the light and he could see the boy was trying to as well. Soon the light dimmed and both of the boys opened their eyes. "What...what just happened?"  Jungkook said as he looked at the boy. The boy just shrugged. "I...I don't even know myself." Jungkook eyes shifted to the boys tattoo. "Hey, your tattoo is glowing." Jungkook mentioned. "So is yours...."  Jungkook looked at his tattoo. It was...and it looked weird.

"Kim Taehyung wolf?" The boy turned around when Jungkook said the name. "How do you know my name?" Jungkook froze. He turned around slowly. "Your name is Kim Taehyung?" Taehyung nodded. "My name is Jeon Jungkook." Taehyung stepped back. Taehyung looked at his tattoo.

Taehyung felt tears build up in his eyes. "Ju-Jungkook..." Jungkook looked at him, he was crying. Jungkook rushed towards him and looks at his tattoo. Jungkook covered his mouth. He could as well also feel tears coming down his face. Jungkook took a look at his tattoo.

"You're my soulmate." Jungkook said smiling. Taehyung looked at him and smiled back. "We're soulmates." And that was the start to a forbidden story.
